With an influx of Capital Class vessels, the men and women of action in the Border Worlds and Edge Worlds required a ship that could hold its own in the dangerous environment. Boasting more power and armor than the Series Z, and the additional fire power of an extra torpedo slot, the Cutlass has become the bane of Bounty Hunters and Criminals alike.

Designed more for hit and run raids against convoys or running skirmishes with capital ships than for head on assaults against fleets, the Cutlass possesses less armor than the Falcata, but boasts greater agility and thus, supposedly, equal or greater survivability for its pilot.

Handling

Review (4.88)

After being useless on release, Cutlass finally got some love. Being known for extremely big armor and balance in all other things, it's the most used bomber in the game after Roc. Being Freelancers' number 1 choice, and alot of unlawful factions aswell, it's –just like the Roc – jack of all trades, being solid in everything but exceeding in only one thing – armor. That being said, the guns/Snac placement is okay, could be a bit better but good nevertheless, agility is also okay, aswell as ship size. It's good for boxing (just like the Sabre). Definetely recommending for Freelancers and Pirates.

Pros: Availability, Huge Armor

Cons: No big con, but could be a bit better at everything

Rating: 8/10
