The Battleship Macduff was a key element of Planet Harris' defense against the Kusari Naval Forces, being the only Bretonian battleship that stayed in Tau-31 system after the Leeds Jump Gate area came under Kusari control. Following the withdrawal of Kusari's fleet when Gallia invaded the Tau systems, the Macduff was forced to pull back to the Newcastle system to bolster its defenses against flanking attacks by the Gallic Navy. It is currently positioned near Planet Carlisle.
