Deliberately placed deep inside the Tojimbo ice field, Anijima base was the most concealed Hogosha facility in existence. As such, it was often used by Hogosha leaders of various locations to meet and discuss plans for the future of both themselves and Kusari as a whole. Aside from the covert nature of the base, it had numerous patrols and strong defenses to keep its occupants safe in case of an attack.
As part of an agreement between the Hogosha and the Kempeitai, Anijima station was traded to the Kempeitai in return for Suzuka Station. The well-hidden location of Anijima has immense value to the Kempeitai who wish to keep a watchful eye on Tottori and its neighboring systems, while its array of defenses ensure the safety of the station and its operators.
