Once renowned for its valiant fights against the Kusari Naval Forces and the Gallic Royal Navy in the Taus, Battleship Stirling survived many battles. However, its age soon began to show and the old Nessie class Battleship was soon withdrawn from the front lines as the war went on, for fear of losing valuable resources in a war theatre that the Stirling would be hopelessly outclassed.

Having been tasked with minor defense missions for the last couple of months, the Battleship Stirling recently received a task that many of those belonging to the Armed Forces' brass believe to be vital to the survival of Bretonia: To establish an Armed Forces presene in Omega-49 and annex Planet Gran Canaria.
