CONTRABAND

The famous Light Arms produced by the Ageira affiliate, Detroit Munitions, are considered by many as the best personal weapons in Sirius. Naturally, most House authorities try to restrict their legal sales, which created incentives for distribution of their black market version.

Cleverly kept off the official books at Detroit Munitions, and occassionally produced by the Lane Hackers at Mactan, these weapons are unregistered, untaxed, and unaccounted for. But most importantly, they lack Ageira's safety mechanisms, which make them particularly valuable to unlawful organizations.
