Pushing the upper envelopes of contemporary engineering, the heaviest configuration of the classical Train takes to the lanes the largest amount of cargo any ship of this series can offer. The reinforced linkage and buffer systems are very expensive however, and it is this cost that prevents this ship from becoming a common sight on Sirian shipping lanes.

Pushing the upper envelopes of contemporary engineering, the heaviest configuration of the classical Train takes to the lanes the largest amount of cargo any ship of this series can offer. While the configuration pushes the train engine to its maximum output, maneuverability is still good for a ship of its size. The reinforced linkage and buffer systems are very expensive however, and it is this cost that prevents this ship from becoming a common sight on Sirian shipping lanes.

Handling

  • This ship is too large to use docking bays, it must use mooring points.
Review (4.88.1)

The most expensive transport one can get , Advanced Train has her nice look from the vanilla Freelancer.Despite having the slowest turn rate amongst transports , she is still better than her rivals when entering trade lanes and jump gates. She is really slim from the front , making it easy and safe to travel through asteroid fields. She has a good armor , also being able to equip Cargo Pods giving her a natural shield against pirates. Also being usable Sirius-wide makes her a good choice for every transport pilot.
