Asteroid Fields

Alamosa Asteroid Field

A large rock asteroid field. Initial surveys indicated no ore or other resources worth mining. Alamosa is a favorite refuge of Rogues and Lane Hackers attempting to escape capture by the Liberty Navy.

Alamosa Asteroid Field

Cheyenne Asteroid Field

A large rock asteroid field. Initial surveys indicated no ore or other resources worth mining. This field is often frequented by Rogues.

Cheyenne Asteroid Field

Copperton Asteroid Field

Like most of the resources in Colorado, the famed Copperton Field has long since been exhausted. Trace amounts of Copper remain. Xenos are active within the field.

Copperton Asteroid Field

Silverton Asteroid Field

Once the major source of Silver for all of Liberty, the Silverton Field has been mined to rubble and dust. Within the field is the former site of an Ageira Technologies manufacturing facility, abandoned over a century ago in favor of Pueblo Station, it now houses a large contingent of Xenos. Trace amounts of Silver remain.

Zone 84 'Labyrinth' Minefield

An incalculable mass of deadly mines and frozen remains nicknamed the Labyrinth, Zone 84 is a testament to twisted genius given direction.

Encompassing an entire sector of the Colorado system, the Labyrinth presents no warning or acknowledgement to those unfortunate or foolhardy enough to escape notice of McNeil Island. The singular known entrance to this outpouring of resistance exists on the southern face of the field guarded by twin gun emplacements, a paltry defence when compared to the horror that lies within.

Pilots unwise enough to attempt the labyrinth without Liberty Police Incorporated (LPI) charts will quickly find themselves utterly lost in the seemingly never-ending tunnels, eventually succumbing to starvation and dehydration as their pleas for help fall upon deaf ears. Faced with the prospect of a slow agonising death, the few souls brave enough defy the mines cast themselves into their countless number seeking release from their torment in a blaze of fire.

Rumours circulate that a second entrance to the labyrinth exists hidden somewhere amongst the mines, many speculate its creation was part of a failed escape attempt, others believe it is part of one yet to take place.
