Description
Emlenton Storage & Exports is located in the Pennsylvania system (Liberty), at 10k distance from Planet Erie.
Emlenton was built in 819 A.S. by Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Universal Shipping, Inc. Its main purpose is to boost Liberty's economy by assisting the hard workers of Pennsylvania, filter and compress Helium so that it may be shipped and processed for "Project Helios," store the majority of gases for Liberty, and act as a distribution center for any of the varied needs of the Republic and its people. It also stands to be the main base of operations for USI and 3M within the Pennsylvania System. USI's Department of Security plans on eradicating the rogue and hacker influence in this area.
There are future plans to expand "employment opportunities" in Pennsylvania by the construction of factory(s) to extend the 3M manufacturing base. This will be done as part of the 3M Vision Statement strategy to rehabilitate and hire ex-Xeno Alliance offenders. Also a fledgling arms exchange has sprung up, instigated by USI security staff at an officers club meeting, to better serve the needs of the team. Finding itself with many items now surplus to requirements the service has been extended to the public.
Rumours have it that Emlenton accepts various commodities that come from some unlawful personnel in order for them to avoid customs. These rumours have been denied by the base's administrator.
Docking Rights
- The docking rights on Emlenton Storage & Exports is granted to all lawful factions or groups who are on good terms with Universal Shipping, Inc on an automatic basis.
