The Feanturi class Research Vessel was the product of certain Zoner research groups, and their attempts to mobilize high tech research facilities due to the lack of space available on a base. The vessel was designed with the ability in mind to harbor facilities ranging in all subjects of the science tree rather than remaining under a particular subject. The Feanturi class Research Vessel was the product of certain Zoner research groups, and their attempts to mobilize high tech research facilities due to the lack of space available on a base. The vessel was designed with the ability in mind to harbor facilities ranging in all subjects of the science tree rather than remaining under a particular subject. This thought caused the final blueprint of the vessel drafted to be quite including of technology that the Zoners used naturally due to who they were, more specifically the inclusion of the Biodome.
The original copy of the vessel harbored a special fixture on the bottom due to one of the key experiments that it was drafted to accommodate. The internal mechanisms had irregular internal systems compared to standard ships developed by the Zoners, resulting in the need for an external housing for these systems, specifically the power core. Once criticized by an external source for harboring an irregular core housing on the exterior of the ship, shielding developed by the original designers dissolved hesitation. When outside spectators observed the original prototype, rumor spread of a glow located in the special attachment of the vessel, which has been kept quiet by the original builders. The final product however was a very well functioning mobile facility if supplied well enough, making it a desirable blueprint that others are beginning to pursue without much luck.
