Constructed at the southern end of the Orkney system, Fort Albi was a small waystation for Gallic shipments and patrols being sent to the Bretonian front through the Edinburgh system. It houses a detachment of Navy Fighters, and plays an important role in keeping Orkney's Outcasts raiders in check. Recently, additional construction has been made to fortify this vital position, amidst growing threats across the Tau region.

With the end of the war and Brittany at the border of several hostile powers, Fort Albi was partially disassembled to allow for minimal damage in towing. The station was settled into an orbit near the Tau-23 hole, and re-assembled to stand guard over the any traffic from Tau-23.
