Grand Vista Orbital Station, usually just called "the Vista" by its inhabitants, is a gradually expanding facility in orbit of Planet Gran Canaria. Construction was completed near the end of 819 A.S. after many years of fundraising by an enterprising Zoner. The station has multiple functions, being both an orbital colony for those unwilling to brave the worsening conditions on the planet's surface, as well as a launching platform for those still willing to do so.
Some entrepreneurial traders are beginning to call the station home due to its centralized location in the system. While the majority of the population is a mix of Zoner and Corsair peoples, there are also many visitors from Bretonia and the Red Hessians. Due to the potential for expansion in the Omega-49 system, this station has very large population for a Zoner settlement.
