Jürgen von Thielau is an highly regarded agent of the BDM. As former Rheinwehr pilot Jürgen joined the BDM after medical issues and a recovery time to fight against the Red Hessians in Rheinland. Von Thielau is a rather new member of the BDM Inspektorat, with crucial knowledge about Red Hessian Movement in Rheinland - Knowledge which has brought him far up in the ranks of the BDM.

Background

Herr Hauptinspektor Jürgen von Thielau, intelligence officer since 824 A.S, is part of the highest ranks in the BDM Mid Command. Von Thielau is a enforcement officer and, as part of the Inspektorat, takes care of Rheinland’s inner safety. Under command of the Generaloberispektor, von Thielau cares about unusual Hessian movements and other internal threads. Von Thielau also assists the regional Bundespolizei forces if necessary, but also collects information on external factions if ordered by the Oberkommando.

Born to a conservative Military Clan, Jürgen had a very strict education with very few friends who were accepted by the family. At the age of 19 Jürgen decided to study medicine at the University on Planet Stuttgart. He finished studying with the Doctorate of Emergency medicine in Rheinland at the Age of 25 and worked 5 years as Doctor on Planet Stuttgart. He also helped developing new prostheses which functioned very similar to human body parts. He worked there until the infested Rheinland Government drew all men into the Rheinwehr at the beginning of the Nomad War. Jürgen was informed very early about the infected Rheinland forces because his mother was part of Rheinland’s Expedition team who first met Nomads. His mother made it healthy back to Rheinland by pretending to be infected. Jürgen kept careful during his service in the Rheinwehr and only had contact to old entrusted friends. After the war was over, Jürgen went to the Rheinwehr Military flight academy and took part in several Leadership courses. After he finished this further education, he went back to the Rheinwehr and served another 15 years in space. On the 16th July in 816 A.S. his Cruiser was ambushed by an RHA Battleship near Freistadt. Von Thielau had no choice but to leave the ship and activate the ship’s self-destruct. He was hit by a bomb of the Hessians who came on board and lost his arm as he reached the Escape pod. The Hessians left in fear of the self-destruct and didn’t care about the escape pods. Jürgen had luck and was found by his older brother Wolfgang who brought him back to Planet Stuttgart for medical treatment. Jürgen got one of the arm prostheses designed by himself, but he had to go to Planet Baden-Baden and rehabilitate himself after the heavy accident. During his time on Planet Baden-Baden he spoke to a present BDM Officer Volker Koch, who wanted to know about Jürgen’s mother’s involvement in the Nomad War. Volker told the interested Jürgen BDM’s operations are classified, but he could go to Planet New Berlin and contact BDM Director Enfield to apply. So Jürgen flew to Planet New Berlin in 824 A.S. to contact the BDM and pass them an application. He was accepted and began his duty for the Büro.

In his time with the Büro, Jürgen trained basic BDM combat skills and flew on some diplomatic missions to the borders of Rheinland. One year later as the BDM began Project AESIR. Jürgen kept the convoys safe and looked out for Hessian activities in the system, in order to keep the project classified, but also to ensure that he would never be ambushed again. After the beginning of the Rheinland-Kusari war, Jürgen was promoted to the mid-command of the Inspektorat. There, he worked hard to keep the inner part of Rheinland safe, while many other Agents were at the Front near Kusari. As the time passes by Jürgen increases his tactical knowledge. He has more freedom in coordinating Patrols, but also gets more paperwork from his superior, the Generaloberinspektor. After another bunch of years in Service, but more because of recent diplomatic meetings concerning Rheinland's safety, Jürgen was promoted to Hauptinspektor by the Direktor. Jürgen started to establish a friendly connection to Marine Royale soldiers, just one week before he met a Bretonian agent in the Omicrons who made an interesting offer to the BDM. These times Jürgen will decide if Rheinland is helthier by allying with MRG or with the Bretonians. At the same time Jürgen will fly into the Omegas and help the Marinekommando with unusual civilian ships spotted by the Rheinwehr...
