Madeira Construction Site is the Independent Mining Guild's ambitious base building project in Omega 47. Using their pioneering spirit, deep space experience and flexible diplomacy, the Guild is making Madeira a stepping stone as operations shift away from the politically toxic Omega Borderworlds to the vast, untapped riches of frontier space.
Following busy months of construction work under challenging conditions, completion of the main components has been steadily advancing towards the 75 % milestone. With the hangar module, storage area, life support and living quarters in working condition, the station starts its function as a forward operation outpost for resource surveying in the Walker Nebula and Cobalt mining in the El Aaiun Field. Construction is expected to continue for months or even years, depending on the success of the project.
