The Marinenachrichtendienst (MND) (word by word translated to "Navy News Service") is the secret service of the Bundesrepublik Rheinland and so the third offical power of the Rheinic government.

History

The MND was founded at the end of the 80 year war by the emperor. The MNS was not able to bring the war to a better ending for Rheinland, but it serves well in the following years of the Popular Revolution by keeping Unioners & Hessians lower. After the Revolution's hot phase was done, the MND become less important. The new federal government had not much use for it, so it became smaller and smaller. The made the Rheinland to the perfect first target of the Nomad's plan to get controll over all humans. The nomads infected the high command of the military and the top politican levels that finally leaded into the Nomad War in 800 AS. Luckly the Nomads failed because of the Order, who was supported by Trent, and Rheinland became free again from Nomads. The new federal government of Rheinland rebuild the MND to find and kill the larger parts of remaing Wild and research the Nomad's parts left behinde in Rheinland like the secret shipyard in Frankfurt. This shipyard became the new HQ of the MND; Schatten Research Facility. The MND built also another research place in Bremen; the Munster Research Station. Liberty was not happy about Rheinland starting to create their own nomad tech so they attacked Bremen with a decleartion of war with the Battleship Concord and started the Liberty-Rheinland-War. Now the MND needed to resolve their work from Munster and counter spy the LSF.

Today

With the end of the war between Liberty and Rheinland, the MND changed it focus from Liberty to Rheinland's oldest enemy; the Red Hessians. The MND built a new base Wadern Forward Base in Hessians lawn to take an eye on the socialistic rebells of Dresden.
