Sponsored by the Gallic crown and given a priority over other projects, the newly begun EFL gate construction in Leeds is seen as a vital step towards securing the Bretonian front after the war. Intended to serve as the highway between Gallia and Bretonia once the war ends, the Gate is being rushed to prevent a halt in the Bretonian economy once the occupied government is put in place.
Optimistic estimates by EFL engineers predict that the Gate will be fully operational in the weeks after the final Gallic push into Bretonia, and just in time to allow for reinforcing elements to secure New London after the decisive battle that will take place over the capital planet within.
As with any successful occupation, the Gallic Crown has already begun planning how to rebuild the damaged infrastructure of Bretonia to allow for a quick revival of the soon to be conquered house under a puppet government.
