Nebulae

Huescar Nebula In late 816 A.S., an Outcast splinter group stumbled across a newly formed jump hole in the Omicron-80 system. Ignoring warnings, the curious patrol pilot got a little too close and the unstable vortex grabbed his ship, sending him spinning across the light years and into a new system. Astonished he gazed at the place he found himself in. Two planets orbited an intense blue star and a dense nebula floated in the distance behind one of the planets. As he sat there in amazement alarms started blaring in his cockpit. Between the radiation of the star and the stress of tumbling through an unstable Jump hole his ship electronic system was about to shut down leaving him stranded in unknown space. He quickly turned around and entered the jump hole for the second time. It spewed his ship out in Alpha again and he quickly made his way back to Malta.Today Huescar Nebula is named after the finder of Omicron-81, Villop Huescar.

Later and even more important discovery was made in Huescar Nebula. The alien organisms found floating in the midst of the nebula helped scientists turn the soil of Moon Terre into a fertile ground for Cardamine growing. Galicia Research Station was set up shortly after the discovery of Omicron-81 to study the intricate nebula and the strange anomalies in the system.
