Sulawesi bears the name of the first installation in the system, which was badly damaged due to the many battles that took place in its vicinity. After one especially intense battle, the base was damaged beyond repair. It was obvious however, that without a fortified outpost in the same location, the whole system would be much harder to defend. Luckily, a large enough ice asteroid was found in the vicinity and its conversion began without delay.
