It should not be taken as canon nor any authority on the current version of Discovery. It is kept simply to show some history of the Discovery Mod:
With the introduction of DSCore (25th Febuary 2019) (Discovery Freelancer Version 4.91 Patch 5), Ship statistic pages and Ship pages will not be updated anymore. Or not regularly atleast. They will be kept for historical reasons. DSCore will give you the most up-to-date info you can get about almost everything you need to know about Ship and Equipment statistics.

DSCore: Tempest

Hard-pressed to find a solution to rapidly deploy fighters to the combat zone and still be a serious threat to its tonnage, Mykolaiv Research Station after years of development and reverse-engineering of both captured and allied technologies developed the Tempest, a platform capable of carrying a bounty of combat fighters and supporting them in the field with minimal resupply, at present the Tempest is the largest Coalition-designed vessel

The Tempest like most Coalition vessels was designed for speed and efficiency, operating in guerrilla fashion like the Typhoon Destroyer the Tempest represents the height of Coalition Engineering and the combat doctrine of the Coalition forces with both it's garrison of snub-fighters along with it's arsenal of weaponry to shift the tide of the battle
