Orbiting the planet Nauru in the Omicron Delta system, Yaren Base is one of the Corsairs' most distant outposts. Built in 812 A.S. to better facilitate the construction of planet-side mining camps and research installations, Yaren Base has since been expanded to include ship repair and refuelling capabilities, as well as a few long term habitat modules. Most of the Iridium mined on Nauru gets transported up to Yaren and then onto Freeport 11, where the Zoners ship it off to Evora Shipyard, Tripoli Shipyard and even into the main Sirius Houses.
Since the BHG Core finally managed to construct Dabodoru Base in Omicron Delta in 817 A.S., Yaren has been further upgraded to include more advanced weapon systems and several new fighter wings from the Corsair navy, and it looks set to continue being of great importance to the Corsairs in the foreseeable future.
