Sabre has had progressive nerfs over the updates. From 85 to 86 its turning speed was nerfed from manta's level to avenger's (a bit quicker). In 87 it has lost the strafe speed and some more powercore.
But it's still usable, and it still wrecks anyone who says it's not.
I'll attempt an update once I get back into the game for good, and I have some real practice.
