Well that's interesting, i guess i missed it then. Can you give me the link to the post itself, since there are too many messages here?

Go back 1 page and you will see A&L backed me up on the 90MM penning E75, and E50. It just cannot do it now at range because of normalization.
Now if you do not want to believe both myself, and A&L? Oh well. Not searching for you, as you said to many pages, and not watching 100 replays to find them.

Anyhoo. Here is ELC vs KV2. Was a fun duel around mid way in.

Tell you what Ryo, I know you have a EU account. Do you have a T25/2 there, or anything with comparable penetration? I have an E75, hence we can do some testing.

I seldom play my EU account. So my best tank on EU is a Churchhill/T14. You can ask A&L he may have a T25/2 still on EU.

Another game of me showing the noobs who is boss. .

I did not miss a shot, knocked 5 tanks down below 20% and still team could not even make a good showing of itself? WOW!

All night i am getting this kind of teams. All rush cap on Encounters, and leave rest of map open. So glad i so fracking good i still make cash hand and fist. LOL If this was a win? Dam the payout would be nice.

I swear you tell people how not to win the game, and they all do exactly that. Like this game. I say do not rush cap on Encounter. They all rush, and i end up 1 on 3 at end, and win it for team.

RE: World of Tanks - Dashiell - 10-04-2012

What is considered to be the best setup for a Pershing with regards to mounts and crew skills?

Right now Ive Co2 tanks, gun rammer and toolbox.

skills im upgrading are: repairs, safe stowage, off-road driving, 2x firefighting

(before you ask, the Pershin is a driving powderkeg so I had to try and prevent it from catching fire or exploding after a single hit)

suggestions for changes?

RE: World of Tanks - VoluptaBox - 10-04-2012

I think you got that wrong mate. Imo, best setup on Pershing is rammer, vertical stabilizer and ventilation. At best, you can swap ventilation for optics. Co2 tanks is one of the most useless things ever. Toolbox isn't bad, but there are better uses of that slot.

As for skills. It's best to get them all the same. For example, when getting repairs, get it on all crew members, not just two of them. Also, firefighting is the stupidest one. Never get it. I'd say go full repair on all when you start. What I usually do, basically, is always train repairs. Once it's at 100%, drop skills for 20k credits. And get either BIA or whatever perks you feel like. I prefer BIA, although 6th sense is also extremely good. Other good things for Pershing, smooth ride, clutch breaking and stuff that extends view range.

That's how I run around it in and it seems to be working so far.

Hope it helps.

Edit: I actually run around with gasoline instead of extinguisher too. That's how low the chance of fire actually is on this thing.

drop skills? wont you lose the perks then?

RE: World of Tanks - VoluptaBox - 10-04-2012

With 20k cash you loose about 10%. Totally worth it. Certainly better than training a perk from 0, which gives you no bonus at all until it's at 100. The skill works at any level and you can just drop it when you can get a perk.

So, if I understand correctly, you can train a skill to 100%, drop it, select a new skill to train while your crew member hold sthe old de-learned skill at 90%?

example: if I have a 100% firefighting, and I drop it to learn repairs, is that dude still epic at firefighting or will his firefighting fall back to 0 once I drop it and start learning repairs?

RE: World of Tanks - VoluptaBox - 10-04-2012

No, no. Naturally, it looses the skill it dropped. For example, you train firefighting to 100%. Then you realize it's useless (it is). You drop it for 20k. You loose all firefighting skills. But if you pick, say, repairs, it's going to start at 90%.
