I'm sorry Ryo, but I won't believe you penetrated many E75s frontally with the T25/2 until I see it. I drove that thing a lot, fought against it a lot and also did some test: when properly angled, it can reliably bounce 225 penetration guns. So yea.

Go back a few weeks here, and you will see A&L replays penning E75's, and me. We have both posted them in the past. But believe what you will.
Oh one thing i like to popint out about the new physics. Be very very careful zipping along edge of water. I got tracked earlier today at top speed, and yup! my tank spun in direction of water, and crew drowned before i could repair track and get out. So be careful all, even a low tier can track, and spin you into watery death.
No prem on this tank and your playing many games in other tanks to pay for ammo. Also 14 shots, 13 hits, 12 pen. I think you miss, and you lose big time cash. http://www.mediafire.com/?qmxe2dq2miku8b5
Here is replay. I am still learning tank 7 games only so far.
T25/2 still can pen E75 and E50 frontally. You just need to wait till they are closer. Shell normalization on all guns in 8.0 means your hunk of flying steel/lead looses more kinetic energy over range, thus making it harder to pen. Makes it more challenging as well as more realistic imho. It also forces campers to move in order to get a viable shot.
US TD's has an advantage though. They have better gun depression than most other vehicles, and fairly accurate precision as well as decent RoF. Use that to your advantage. But the biggest factor in 8.0 to do good against targets presenting their fronts, is to wait with that first shot 50 to 70 meters compared to 7.5. Or try to track them while they are thundering forward, so they sideslip and present their weaker side. (best done if you have support with you that can pound them while tracked. Remember, now you directly can see what you get out of spotting targets for team mates).
I've allways played my td's with relocation and trying to support on flanks where needed, instead of keeping to the usual snipespots favoured by TD's, so I dont feel the effect of shell normalization changes that much.
Remember, its not just the new physics that has made WoT a whole new ballgame. Rethink your old strategies, adapt and you will prevail.
This is what i figured A&L. I was about 150 away when bouncing of the E75. In 7.5 that would have been fine. I also play like you in T25/2. I do not like sitting still in a fast TD with bad Camo ability. Zipping around taking shots whenever you can works well.
Only reason i got so mant shots on that E75 was it was shooting at my teams T28 instead of me.
I do so love the normalization in my MAUS. Long range snipers do nothing to it now. Angle a little, and bounce bounce.
anyway, getting EXP to get the Chafee is damn hard....
Which gun are you using?
And yeah, I decided to just go for the M7 MT when I unlocked it, despite originally going for the Chaffee.
The M7 MT is atrocious stock, but once you upgrade the gun and can actually do something it becomes a lot more fun.

Yeah, I had to unlock the Chaffee with free xp to stand the M5 (back when it saw tier 9s just about every match). It really does shine in tier 4 matches, though. That thing can nearly oneshot many tanks at tier or below that it sees, which is nice.
However, in higher tier matches the other tier 4 scouts have attributes that make them better at the job of scouting.
I loved the M7, but the chaffee? Was not a fan. It had horrible MM, and lost money more games then it made money. M7 now faced mostly tier 5's, and the 6pounder just rapes them as you circle straff that azz. Got me a 7 kill game in M7 where 3 were PIV's with full health.
