Galactica was one of the first builds of her class. Galactica's story is a little bit interesting...

First Galactica was an Hathor Class Gunboat, Destroyed at the Omicron Iota- Nomads destroyed the ship.

2nd Galactica was an Osiris Class Battleship, Destroyed by the Nomad Assassins at Evora Shipyard.

3rd Galactica was a Geb Class Assault-Battlecruiser. Heavily damaged at the Battle of Minor. Cruiser's repairs were completed but alert systems were not fixed.

Fleet decided to use the Cruiser as a Weapon Platform, So... Her Crew transfered to another Osiris Class Battleship, and renamed the ship as Galactica the 4th.

Laterly, Commander Ege Skywalker decided to leave the Order. He always wanted to be a Space Explorer. After that, he joined to the Zoners to make his dream come true.

5th Galactica was built as a Zoner Juggernought but unfortunately, never launched. Still waiting to launch at Freeport 11 - Omicron Delta

and her captain left the station with a gunboat for no reason...

Battleship Galactica

Order vessel Galactica was Built in Evora Shipyard as Order CV-1 Battleship. The Battleship's Commanding officer was Ege Skywalker. When the Toledo was destroyed, Galactica jumped to the Omicron Lost System. Ship's weapon and radar systems were heavily damaged, but the crew took a risk and they jumped to the Omicron Delta. Galactica guarded the borderlines of the Order for a long time... Ship re-built as the Mobile Freeport, when the ship's crew joined to the Zoners. Galactica was destroyed during a nomad attack in an unknown omicron star system. Skywalker was the commander of Galactica during this incident. Some people says that Skywalker ordered the crew to abandon ship and started the sequence of self-destruct. He escaped to the Rogue Strider just like the rest of the crew afterwards. He's commanding the Rogue Strider since then.

About the Mobile Freeport

}} The new upgrade to the aging "Juggernaut" class Zoner capital ship was named "Nephilim" the Mobile Freeport after the race of legendary giants. Zoners have customized these vessels to fill multiple roles on the modern battlefield as well as serve as heavy transports and supply ships for the most remote regions of space. Ships of this class take up unbelievably vast amounts of resources and expert engineering, but are also designed to be in service for several generations, justifying their great cost. The Zoners who travel into the unknown of deep space trust these ships to sustain them during long explorations that are expected to take several generations, and thus outfit the ships to be capable of light industry and hydroponic food production during the voyage. The Nephilim is also capable of making planetfall and establishing a fully autonomous colony. The new Nephilim is equipped with an expanded docking bay, upgraded navigation and tactical stations, and improved fire control computers. Its reactor core is far more efficient than the previous design, propelling the ship with the same power core used in the "Leviathan" class. It is not known how many of these ships are deployed by Zoners or to what exact use they are all put, but it has become a certainty that Zoners do possess the capability to produce them.
