Nyx - Evo 2B IMG Very Heavy Fighter

Built upon the backs of dozens of testbed designs and billions of credits in research and development, shaped and guided by the blood spilled in countless skirmishes, the Nyx class IMG space superiority fighter is, simply put, the one. Ingeniously crafted on every level, from ease of maintenance to customizable performance dictated by the needs of the pilot, these amazing craft took the lessons gained from vessels ranging from the Talon to the Stinger, from decades of study on Outcast raids to survival in the chaos of their native asteroid fields. Combining speed, finesse and unrelenting brutality in her mission of executing any and all opposition to the men and women charged to her protection.

The design is jealously guarded, lest it fall into the hands of their foes and anyone not of the IMG found to be flying such a vessel is at risk of brutal reprisal at the hands of anyone looking to garner the favor, or credits, of that organization.

Handling

{{Review|AeternusDoleo| A nimble and slim-profiled fighter. It's power core is fairly average, and it's handling is as well, but from the front or side, it presents a very small profile to hit. Weapon placement has the class 10 slots on the two wings, one at the top and one at the bottom, giving a rectangular firing pattern. The two class 9 guns are closer to the cockpit. The torpedo slot is nicely centered for the minirazor - but the powercore of this fighter causes most folks to mount a cruise disruptor instead. This ship is slightly less agile then it's chief opponent, the Sabre, but harder to hit.
