The Bayonet, as it has come to be known, has been developed by the Lane Hackers for almost two decades. Blending traditional Borderworld ship technologies with newly devised Lane Hacker ones it brings an exquisite mixture of firepower, armor and speed to the battlefield. This "jack of all trades", unlike others of it's class, is a master of them as well.
True to its Hacker origins the vessel's oversized heatsinks play host to a dizzying array of sensitive electronic surveying and splicing equipment. Allowing it to maintain the role of a dedicated gatherer, and obstructer, of intelligence while its more combat orientated brethren dominate the battlefield.

Review
LHX-F1A "Bayonet" Heavy Fighter. A true jewel within the Lane Hacker shipline. Sleak and agile, yet a nasty bite, this ship has it all. Right off the bat one would notice the flat shape, this shape makes the ship very hard to hit, even from the top or bottom. Your six guns, two on top and four underneath, will deliver a hefty punch. But do not even dream of using heavy weapons. The first mistake you do with this ship, is to assume that you can use heavy weapons on it. Avoid using class 9 weaponry, use class 8 instead. The ships agility make you turn so fast that you have little time to regenerate your core, so it will almost always be dried up when using class 9 weaponry like Kraken or Hellflurry's. Do not mount an Inferno on this ship! First of all, the gun drains all its energy, second of all, it sticks out from the nose and can get shot/mined/missiled off in an instant. At most use a Mini Razor, even better, use a Starkiller Torpedo or a cruise disruptor. Like the ship's description says, this ship is a "master of them aswell". That is true. Rapid turning, a reasonable powercore and a reasonably thick hull would make this ship within the top 3 heavy fighters with ease. The Bayonet is my favorite heavy fighter, I can't count the hours I've spent in this ship, nor the fights we have endured. The ship's shape in itself has saved me in almost every situation possible. From furballs to duels, from being outnumbered by capital ships or fighters or transports alike. The ship itself will be a life saver and at the same time serve as platform capable of immense damage and destruction. This ship is simply the BEST the Lane Hackers has to offer to this date.Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Prysin |
