Reunion was constructed by the Council in 817 A.S., only a few weeks after the path in the Orkney mine field was cleared. Named after a French island in the Indian ocean of ancient Earth, this base is a symbol of the actual reunion of Sirius colonies and the House of Gallia, which was isolated from the rest of human civilization for over seven hundred years.

The station was built in a haste using whatever materials could be brought into Orkney from Languedoc. Larger construction elements, including dock ports and solar panels, were purchased from Independent Miners Guild. Despite having poor living conditions, the station has become a very busy place, serving a large amount of ships coming to and from Gallia. From here, the Council launches recon missions in order to seek a place of refuge within Sirius when Languedoc defenses will be breached by Gallic Royal Navy.
