Records of long range scans into the deep Omegas have shown increasingly powerful fluctuations in a wormhole linking two Omega systems together. Although the cause of the fluctuations is unknown, more recent scans of the wormhole have revealed a sharp decline in the quantity and severity of the fluctuations. This suggests that a secondary force is intervening in the wormhole's demise somewhere in the Omega-55 system.
