Character
Kate Miller is a well known Mercenary that used to be under the protection of the Keepers. Newer reports state Kate Miller has been seen assaulting Nomad vessels herself or accompanied with other Nomad ships, creating rumors of a civil war inside the Nomads. She is to be approached with caution, her stance on humans still unknown.
A difficult childhood turned this ordinary girl into a real hitman after the assassination of her father and sudden dissapearance of her mother at the same time. While her sister Karen Miller turned to the [*USI*] corporation, Kate Miller only continued to live with revenge as her only goal. Ultimately, her quest led her to space with a stolen X-Shuttle, but finding people that commited a crime five years ago and left very little evidence was not an easy task. Very little informations on this moment of her life are available, aside of a few patrol reports and the lawsuit for the stolen X-Shuttle.
How Kate Miller ended up in the Order afterwards is still a mystery to the Order itself. Many think she met Christopher Dangen, the Anubis Fleet commodore way before she came to the Omicrons, considering this as the best explanation on how she got her hands on Order technologies, but was never proved right by any of them two. The Order High Command classified almost all the files related to Kate Miller, but a few slipped out mentioning her task to use her relationship with Christopher Dangen to inform the Order of his actions when he became abducted by the Phantom Empire, and Kate was the only person relatively able to approach him without getting shot at.
A document that was leaked after the battle of Toledo and the reconstruction on Akabat finally explained to those who came in possession of the documents the real reasons of Kate Miller's betrayal. While the Order High Command quickly removed all mentions of the documents and took it back, the rumors were already spread among the Order. Kate Miller was pregnant of Christopher Dangen, the document revealing that Christopher Dangen was a generic experiment of the Order at the same time. The Order Science Division quickly assigned agents to Miller's surveillance, seeing the child as a way to progress in the war against the Nomads by using the new genetic assets she would provide.
