Incorporating the same design philosophy of the Valor, the Lynx converts tremendous resources into a engine of ruthless destruction. With unmatched hull plating, power and exhaustive electronic support systems this sophisticated and deadly fighter was crafted to overwhelm any and all opposition should Gallia's borders ever be breached.
History
The XJ-3 "Lynx" Gallic Very Heavy Fighter is the pinnacle of the Gallic Royal Navy's fighter technology, with both regular pilots, officers and the famed Royal Guard making use of its power. Due to its heavy use in the Gallic borderworlds following the rise of the Council, it has come to be known as the "Sword and shield" of the Royal Navy, often being the first and last line of defence, skirmishing with fighters of all classes and becoming increasingly usefull against gunboat class ships. Those within the Gallic aristocracy may choose to not pilot a capital class ship and many turn to the XJ-3.

The heaviest of the Royal Navy's fighters, it still manages to fly with agility, its strafing capabilities outmatch many other ships of its class. The ship can also do a 360° turn in 4 seconds, more than any other VHF.In the hands of a powerfull fighter it can be turned into a devestating, lethal weapon. This is, in my opinion, the best VHF in the game. It has the power to survive almost any encounter while dealing an enormous amount of fire-power. The Lynx has a turn-rate similar to an average HF. I have killed up-to 12 NPC VHFs at once with this ship; and when you're exploring, its agility combined with its strafing capabilities means that you can also live to give central command any intelligence you've learnt. The only times I've died in this ship were when I went into a sun's corona or when I hadn't played for 5 months and was against 6 council bombers. this ship will take you anywhere you want to go from Dur-Shurrikun to hostile Manhatan to Omega 41 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by JSdisc |

This ship, while it's not as good as mentioned above, is still decent and got pretty epic engine flames. But beware when you fight this fighter, it can break your day if piloted correctly. Not to mention that it lags a lot. Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Ciufu |

The main fighter of the Royal Navy is the only very havy fighter in Gallia and very manoeuvrable. It is more manoeuvrable that the Templer and hard than the Agma so that this ship is the best ship inside of Gallia.
