* {{Review|Corsair|This is the most terrifying weapon a Valor has. It does 20% more damage than a Heavy Mortar and uses 100,000 less energy. Like all forward guns, its firing arc is tight and unforgiving. You should go into first person view and then put your target slightly above the center of your screen. Given that this weapon is primarily used on Bretonian battleships, you should try to line up a shot on its flank so that it can't evade. Hitting an unshielded, Cap 8 Bretonian battleship (3.2 million armor) will take out a solid 20% of its hull strength in one shot. Due to the consumption of 2.4 million energy, you can actually fire this gun several times if you can keep the enemy battleship lined up. With a refire rate of ten seconds per shot, the Valor's energy core will regenerate to a point of surplus by the time it can fire again. It's best not to use this on shields due to the massive power requirement. A pair of Pulses should be enough to knock down a freshly regenerated shield. All in all, if you want to have the last word in anticapital artillery, the Warwulf is the gun for you. It's also worth mentioning that if an unshielded Bretonian Destroyer happens to cross in front of you, even with a Cap 8 armor upgrade it will still have half of its health taken out. }}

The "Warwolf" was perhaps the largest trebuchet ever built on ancient Earth. It was commissioned by Britain's King Edward I for his siege of Stirling Castle in Scotland during a rebellion. The Gallic Royal Navy chose the name for this ironic quality, since it was first deployed in their assault on Bretonia. The gun creates the most devastating non-nuclear blast in existence, delivering more than twice as much destructive power as a Mortar. The weapon is capable of obliterating conventional cruisers in one shot to their hulls, and causes massive concussion waves throughout battleships and dreadnoughts, incapacitating crew members that somehow survive the impact. The weapon's energy requirements and long recharge time are significant, and are its only disadvantage. The Gallic Royal Navy considers use of the weapon so important that relatively high ranking officers act as its gunner under direct command of an admiral, and these officers have been known to be court martialed or demoted for failing to hit their target, since use of the weapon prevents the ship from firing other weapons due to the energy drain. Gallic Royal Navy combat doctrine calls for the "Warwolf" to be deployed primarily as an opening salvo in engagements versus capital ships, since its use significantly impedes use of the ship's other weapons systems. Loss of shields while in range of a Gallic battleship that has sufficient energy to fire this weapon is almost suicidal for a capital ship.
