The Chanai Biodome Project is a large Golden Chrysanthemum (GC) facility on which a large portion of their civilians reside, mostly people that would face persecution on the Kusari core worlds. There are several hundred people living on the base, most of whom are not fighters. The base earned it's name from the two large biodomes that flank it, which produce the bulk of the food supply for the organisation. There are also some civilian facilities such as schools and nurseries on the base, allowing GC activists to not need to make the choice between motherhood or fighting for their rights. The biodomes are of Synth Foods design, but have been constructed by the GC themselves.
