The above unsigned comment is not really a template, but the idea is valid. I have created a template to be used to mark pages for deletion: Template:Delete. It adds a message box to the page and adds the page to. This makes it easier to mark and find pages. If admins use this page to find pages that need deleting, perhaps a note should be added to this page as well as putting the template on the to-be-deleted page?
