-The Hispania was one of the five sleeper ships sent by the [[Alliance]]. She was badly damaged by [[Coalition]] saboteurs before she reached her destination and around half of its occupants used escape pods to abandon the ship near the [[Omicron Gamma]] system, later becoming the [[Corsairs]] when they settled on [[Planet Crete]]. The other half remained and drifted with the ship, founding a separate colony on [[Planet Malta]] in the [[Omicron Alpha]] system, later becoming the [[Outcasts]].
-Today, the wreck of the Hispania still drifts in orbit around Planet Malta.
