PILOT
All spaceships, including smallest civilian crafts, are equipped with standard eject mechanisms. When the ship is destroyed in a fight or in some sort of accident, the pilot automatically ejects. If you succeed to pick up the eject pod, you may try to sell it at a nearby pirate base - some criminal groups give good money for civilian pilots.
