James Powell was the president of the Liberty Republic, and was elected in 811 A.S. He legally stood down as President in 819 A.S., at which point the position of Liberty's president was re-elected. In 826 A.S, he stood down legally from the Presidential position again as new President of Liberty was elected, Mildred Hawthorne.
