Background
Johan Lennox, earlier known as notorious Hacker who secured access to several data banks and secret archives in Liberty including the data files about the Valhalla One, is an Order agent in the rank of an Ensign. He joined the Order Primary Fleet, recruited by Captain Brian Scott, with some experience of dogfights and fighting skills because he wanted to be more than just usual. He is still training his space combat and fighting skills while he is taking mentally training to differantiate between the Order and his relationship to Yuki Hiryu to have clear thoughts all the time.
Earlier life
Lennox was born in some difficult circumstances 789 A.S on Planet Hamburg. His father Tom Lennox and his mother Annette Lennox were in a bad financial situation which led to the leaving of Rheinland. Even if it wasn't possible to escape out of Rheinland without any risks, including the corrupt police forces in their back, they finally made it to Planet Manhattan in the New York system.
After family Lennox arrived, Johans parents searched for a cheap flat outside the main cities to build up their life again. Years by years Joahn haven't seen space. But after his father, Tom Lennox, got a well paid job the wish of Johan to get back into space finally became truth.
Working as a frighter pilot in his old Humpback he sometimes took his son with him. Because of his ability to learn very fast Johan Lennox was able to fly his father's ship with 11 years. He also visited a school at Manhattan where he learned to programm neural net entries, later to programm security codes. But then the Nomad War began and family Lennox went into the dark. Hidden for nearly half a year they lived somewhere in the Mountains at Manhattan. There he had his first encounter with remnants of alien technology, remnants of an ancient artifact known as the Valhalla One. After the Nomad War was over Johan had to take a job to help his family with earning money. Because his father lost his job during the Nomad War he sent some applications to Interspace Commerce. Not even after one week Interspace Commerce replies to his application and offered a job as a frighter pilot first class. Johan accepted the offer and became a frighter pilot like his father. But because he was only 12 years old he applied with different papers. Through the fact Johan wouldn't be able to manage it with 12 years in space alone his father always was at his side showed him a lot of tricks and possibilities to quit a job much faster. Until Johan Lennox was 17 years old he continued his job, being able to fly the freighter alone without the help of his father. Then one day, when his parents wanted to go on vacation he received a call from a Liberty Police officer, Johan should hurry up to get to the New York jumpgate in Colorado. After he arrived in Colorado he saw a wreck flying around in space. It was the new bought Rhino from his parents. No eject pods have ever been found. At this point of his life everything has changed.
Lennox went to the Border Worlds after he got his first fighter. With the old Kingfisher he bought from the money he had left he got out of the core worlds. He was sure he will encounter the murderer of his parents soon. He identified the strange man as an Outcast who wanted to have the ship of Johan's parents. During he lived in the Border Worlds, most time in Tau 29, he encountered an alien ship the first time. It was a young morph of the Slomon K'Hara he saw while flying through the system. He was surprised the morph didn't attack him. Everywhere it is known that the Nomads are an highly agressive race.
He wanted to find out more and reminded something he had seen during the Nomad War. Johan Lennox went back to Liberty and looked out for possibilities to gain more information about the mysterious alien race. Then one day after several years of research he finally managed it to get access to the best monitored place in Liberty. To the data files of the Valhalla One. After he needed nearly 50 runs to hack these data files he finally was able to decrypt the files with a huge loss of his computer equipment. There he was able to find a lot of data about the Slomon K'Hara and also their makers the Daam K'Vosh. He also found a lot information about an organisation which is fighting against the agressive Nomads. He found what he wanted to find. After he noticed the Liberty gouvernment wanted to get Lennox for a crime in the cyber space he decided to leave the core worlds, heading to the Omicrons. With a set route to Omicron Delta he wanted to find the secret organisation he read so much about. He thought The Order will be his future, to do the things he always wanted to do before. To protect the human race from an ancient threat. With his knowledge about the Slomon K'Hara he thought he would be welcome to the Order after he reached Toledo. A single space-time disturbance had been detected by his ship in the norhtern Asteroid field. It was the jumphole to Omicron Minor, the home of The Order. After he jumped he was surrounded by several unidentified ships. They looked like Liberty fighters, but they weren't. It was a class with the designation "Nephthys". The mysterious pilots of these ships let him one minute to say what he wanted to. He did not hesitate and told them of the existence of the Valhalla One. After the strange pilots of the Nephthys heard that, they told Lennox to follow them.
Personality
A bit more difficult than it looks like was the changing behavior of Johan Lennox. When his parents went to Manhattan he grew up in a house far away from the inner cities of the planet. Because of this kind of isolation Johan hadn't much contact to other people until he was five years old. He was shy and had no self-convidence.
All these things changed after he went to school. He learned how to handle with the people and tried to understand them. When he was 16 years old he had his first time with a girl. He became more and more self-convident with the time assisted by his new girlfriend. One year later he quitted every contact to any known person, including his girlfriend. Because his parents got killed he went into a phase of depression and mourning. With leaving the core worlds to find the murderer of his parents he had no contact to other people for over four years.
During this time he encountered a Nomad Morph. His will for researching after information about this alien race began. After almost a century of search, alone speaking with noone except for enemies he had to defeat on his way, he managed to get to Omicron Delta, finally to the Omicron Minor jumphole, then Planet Toledo. There he joined the Order secondary fleet and met a lot of people who saw potential in him. His self-confidence increased again when he finally was recruited by Captain Brian Scott for the Order primary fleet.
