Lorraine is a system in the Gallic Border Worlds. After the Second Gallic War the system were cut of for a longer time, because behinde the main Jump Gate layed Champagne, the place where the revolution has started and the has became to the capital of the Gallic Republic. Later the GRN were able to isolate Champagne and connecting Burgundy and Lorraine directly by their former Champagne Jump Gates.
This system is an important traffic system for the Kingdom. It holds one of the two natural Jump Holes that link Gallia and Sirius. Behind that hole is Omicron Tau; a Outcast Core system. In 818 AS the Council attacks the mine field around that hold and created many mine free lines to the hole without passing the royal navy's border station strongholds. The Outcasts did not need more time for that invitation and have broken throuth the hole and created Torino Base as a forward depot and stronghold that should be the key to new Cardamine trading line to the gallic core worlds.
Also this system must be passed from all visitors of the Kingdom that come over Kusari. Beside that the system has no real economical value. There are no reasons to visit this system as traveller or trader. You will not find any facility or mining station here.

Le Thillot Asteroid Field
Ajoux's surface is a patchwork of dark and bright surfaces. The moon is pulled and pressed by tidal forces many hundreds of times higher than those experienced on any habitable world by the mass and magnetosphere of Privas. Melting in the moon's crust caused by this tidal pressure periodically causes the eruptions and geysers that then refreeze into smooth plains, the more reflective, brighter regions of the world as seen by spacefarers.
