History
The Nomad Lair is currently a Dormant Nomad Hive located in the centre of the sensor blackout of the Omicron-92 system. It is unknown whether or not the Lair is responsible for the fact that Navmaps are rendered useless in the system, or if the interference is caused by the system's location deep within the Edge.
This lair was not always inactive - it is the very same place where where Edison Trent retrieved the Nomad Power Cell which was subsequently used to activate the Artifact on Planet Toledo, which in turn activated the Hyper Gate at The Battle of Omicron Major.
