A desert planet whose orbit lies between Planet Orleans and the Lyonnais Jump Gate, Amilly has a thin atmosphere with only traces of oxygen. It is a cold world with sparce mineral deposits, and a GMS once considered building a mining colony planetside. However, the deposits are mostly located deep inside the planet's thick crust, where mining in such depths is unsafe and economically unviable
