Yuma is a lush world that is seemingly ideal for human population, with vast seas and a wide equatorial band of humid tropical terrain. Since the planets discovery 640 A.S by Zoner explorers there have been multiple colonization attempts, all of which have failed. The overly aggressive native flora is capable of re-growing in cleared land at astonishing speeds and is capable of chocking out synth crops, requiring any colony attempt to be well supplied from outside sources.
DSE surveyors have chosen to base their ship the Armstrong in orbit as they survey the rest of the Coronado system. News of Planet Yuma has already been transmitted back to Manhattan where Orbital Spa and Cruise has entered an intense bidding war with Synth Foods for the rights to establish the first Liberty colony.
