The Renzu Corporation, a humble business concern that has survived the centuries amongst giants of industry, recently attracted a number of talented young shipwrights by promises of making a fresh expression of their talents outside the well worn channels of Kusarian business practice. Through the considerable speculative investment on the part of Renzu's new parent corporation, the Independent Neuralnet Department , these unique vessels have begun to creep into the open, and grey, markets of Sirius.
Designed and marketed to fit the market needs of middle ground consumers, the Saishi sacrifices power and armor for the same agility and response of far more expensive vessels. Capable of steering her pilot and crew out of any danger which they might encounter she has found a strong market for pilots seeking a personal shuttle that wont break the bank.

The Saishi is a wonderful ship. Being a civilian ship, it can be used by anyone, giving you more flexibility in using equipment. The hull is slightly on the lower side for a Heavy Fighter, but this is compensated for by its ability to fire a total of 6 weapons forwards, and having size and handling comparable to that of a Light Fighter. The turret slot is best filled with a debilitator, since it is a class 1 turret slot, and the best shield-killing turret available to most factions is already a class 1 turret. Another notable characteristic is the ship's ability to mount a torpedo, making it deadly against larger ships. In 4.86, the saishi has 1 class 9 guns, and 4 class 8 guns; these and a forward-firing turret can give the pilot a small, agile, and deadly ship.
