Renzu Corp "Wasupu" Civilian Very Heavy Fighter

The Renzu Corporation, a humble business concern that has survived the centuries amongst giants of industry, recently attracted a number of talented young shipwrights by promises of making a fresh expression of their talents outside the well worn channels of Kusarian business practice. Through the considerable speculative investment on the part of Renzu's new parent corporation, the Independent Neuralnet Department , these unique vessels have begun to creep into the open, and grey, markets of Sirius.

The vanguard of the Renzu Corporations space efforts, the Wasupu was based upon an aged spaceframe once employed by the GMG. Having purchased the rights to the vessel a long process of modernization was launched, addressing a number of issues that had caused the vessel to be outmoded. With a slight reduction in agility in favor of a heavier plant when compared to the Eagle, the Wasupu is a staple ship in Kusari space with sales indicating its growing favor with escort pilots seeking an alternative to the standard fare.

Handling

Review Providing an alternative to the so called paperships available for civilian use, the Wasupu is the only civilian VHF with 10k + base armor. An oddity in the Kusari market both in looks and in handling, the best comparison of this ship would be to the Guardian, with which it shares it's agility. Despite a slower turning speed, the Wasupu is a well rounded alternative to faster and more lightly armored ships open to civilian use such as the Eagle and Virage. The 10.4k armor gives it decent protection, and the medium fighter plant allows it to use heavier weaponry than those other ships as well. While one may initially consider the lacking agility to be a disadvantage, this is not the case, as the Wasupu is a tiny pancake of a ship with an extremely thin profile, balancing out it's less than glorious maneuverability. Ultimately I would recommend this ship to anyone looking for a civilian VHF, but used to flying heavier house military or unlawful ships like the Guardian or Odin.
