Built out of a massive asteroid in the orbit of Crete, Rhodes Shipyard is the backbone of the Imperial fleet's maintenance and capital ship production. Whereas Tripoli is responsible for smaller ships such as snubcraft, Rhodes picks up where Tripoli's capacities end. However, even though it is quite possibly the largest spaceborne Corsair installation, the Empire continuously struggles with supply shortages, causing Rhodes to operate at only about a third of its potential capability. Almost comparable to house shipyards, Rhodes is responsible for the refitting of old Osiris battleships into the modern Murmillo class Battleships of the Corsairs.
