I think this page needs a bit of work. Many things in there should be links, for example all the factions and commodities. Didn't want to do it myself, though, because of the note on top.

Here's some fluff I've written on Kusari's military, feel free to use it as you see fit:

"Military Organisation of Kusari;

The Emperor of Kusari is the commander-in-chief of the Kusari Gunpyou (Kusari Armed Forces). Under the Emperor are jointly the Shogun and the Naikaku sori Kusari (Prime Minister of Kusari), administrators of the Kokkai (Diet of Kusari) and in turn the Shihaisha Makanai (Governors Board), who are legally authorized to appoint or remove, though not directly command, members of the Daihonei (Kusari High Command), currently composed of the Kaigun-honei (Kusari Naval High Command) and the Rikugun-honei (Kusari Army High Command).

The Kaigun-honei is comprised of 12 Taishos (Admirals). One notable member is Taisho Hikaru Sulu, commander of the battleship Tawakemono, who has recently been rumoured to be favoured by sections of the Kokkai for a promotion to Gensui Taisho (Fleet Admiral). He is generally acknowledged as the unofficial leader of the Taisho, due to his enormous political influence, including favour with at least one Imperial family member and possession of enormous fleet forces. Another is Taisho Kuniyoshi, commander of the battleship Nagano near the Tau 29 jump gate, called the "Imperial Defender" by some for his role near the borders of Kusari, between the battlefront of Tau 31 and the heart of New Tokyo.

The Rikugun-honei is comprised of 12 Taishos (Generals). The Imperial Garrison, commanded by the Taisho of the Arata Tokyo Rikugun (New Tokyo Defensive Army), is often confused with the Dai Kaigun, but is a seperate and lesser in power (though more vehicle-oriented) organisation guarding the capital city of New Tokyo and several adjunct shiros (castles).

Independently, there exists the Dai Kaigun (known to some as the Kusari Naval Forces Guard or the Imperial Guard), an armed forces section capable of incredible skill in space and on the ground. They do not answer to even the Shogun or the Naikaku, only to members of the Imperial Family and the Emperor himself. They patrol the secondary command centre of the Hiroshima system.

Lastly, there also exists the Naicho (Imperial Intelligence Office), which is akin to the LSF in it's overall structure, being headed over by a Juukayu (Director) and numerous subdirectors of divisions including anti narcotics operations, homeland security, external intelligence, and a rumoured section controlled by the Hogosha. Anda-Juukayu Mitsuhirato of the anti narcotics example is one example. There also exists an order of ninjitsu who exist with an unusual relationship, subordinate to the Shogun but not the Naikaku led by a Yuuen Tatsujin dai Ninjitsu (Grand Master of the Ninjitsu).
