Background: Samuel Clarke was born on Planet Leeds. Samuels father ran a corner store with an apartment upstairs where Samuel and his five siblings were raised by their mother and father.
A sickly child, he suffered greatly from the pollution in his home planets atmosphere. He was often bedridden with various lung related illnesses. With little else to do Samuel concentrated on his studies and did well in school. Well enough in fact that he earned himself a science scholarship at the University of New London. He left home for New London one day after completing school.
After a year on New London Samuel realized that he had not been ill since his arrival on this much cleaner planet. His health had improved so much that he took up various outdoor activities. In his pursuits he found that he had great natural athletic talent for some sports.
His skills at windsurfing earned him planet wide renown and he eventually dropped out of University to travel to Liberty to compete at some high profile competitions. His gamble paid off and for years he was known throughout the four houses as a top caliber competitor. Having won thousands of credits in these competitions over the years, and making even more as a spokesperson for various sporting goods companies, he eventually retired from competitive sports and retired to Planet Manhattan.
Soon after retirement at 24 standard years old Samuel grew bored and began looking for a new career. He eventually took space piloting lessons and after his first solo he purchased a civilian Falcon. Since then he has done freelance missions, transport escorting, and some small scale trading within Liberty space. Having now decided that his future is in space travel he is looking to sign on with a major company that will give him opportunities to travel Sirius and get paid for it.
Samuel has signed on as a transport pilot for Synth Foods Inc. but still maintains his private Falcon HF for personal use.
