Ralf Warren: Canaria News Network brings you exclusive images of the Siege to the Goldern Coin Molly base, that was attempted by Bretonia forces today.

As usual CNN was the first news team to be on the spot, thanks to our newly aquired Dromedary freighter, named Quick Response Unit. And what we witnessed was astonishing! An all open fight between Bretonia Armed Forces and Bretonia Police Autority versus the Mollies and some freelancer bounty hunters.

First, the Bretonians assembled a massive strike force composed mainly by Battleships, as the firepower necessary to take the well defended base out was expected to be high. They surrounded the base and started the bombardment.

They were able to inflict heavy damage on the station until several Molly's bombers and fighters arrived at the scene to defend their instalation. At least two BAF capital ships were lost in the battle, while several others were criticaly injuried and retreated.

As of 4:50 hours Sirius Mean Time the siege was over and the few Molly ships left around were celebrating what they called "a great victory to the Mollies".

We will stay on the system to see if there are any other repercutions over this hot battle today here in Dublin, and we come back as soon as anything important happens.

UPDATE: GOLDERN COIN now on NEUTRAL MODE

Dublin System, near Goldern Coin Station

Ralf Warren: Hello there, folks. Just a little update for you from the Dublin System.

After last night fierce battle, Bretonia Armed Forces and the Bretonia Police Authority have totaly retreated from the system. Only the usual patrols continue, but none of them passes near Goldern Coin Station, the focus point of last night fighting.

On the other hand, perhaps not to atract even another attack by Bretonia forces, the Mollys have decided to completely deactivate their station defense weapons.

As you can see from this image, where our ship is seen very near the station and its weapons platforms, but they remain neutral, as opposed to yesterday were the station defenses were clearly hostile to all ships, as can be seen in the images from last night.

I even saw a Corsair freighter exit the jump from Omega 49 right beside the station, and flying away unharmed. Its good news for the Zoner population from Canaria to be able to use the Dublin route safely, as opposed to the much bigger and dangerous path through Omega 5 and 47.
