I've just completed the advanced training at flight school,so now i have my starflier,a few credits, and courage to start a new life out there,<TXT MISSING> Made his ship transponder to Just.a.Person,which i assume is just for fun,i am starting up this Neural Net log to keep track of my adventures and i will use this until the end of my life, sounds ironic, doesn't it?

So i took my savings, said goodbye to my family and departed from Los Angeles, out for the stars,my dad encouraged me to join the navy,so i gave up about the freelancing idea and headed for West Point Military Academy,<TXT MISSING> Turned down my offer to follow suit and join the navy too,and instead headed to Manhattan to buy a rhino,he had more cash,so i guess it's fair enough.

I did the application, they said it'll be answered in three days, for some reasons i didn't join the primary fleet, mainly because i wanted a bit of freedom,so then i headed to Manhattan and reunited with my friend,he had got a rhino and a contract of some company to supply them with mining machinery,i don't remember the station's name, but it was in Kusari, probably in the New Tokyo system, heard it's all blue out there.

I just got accepted! I jumped with joy when i heard i got accepted when i was standing in the officer's office,i got my brand new uniform,a lousy defender, and my first paycheck was a month away, this seemed so easy,i parted ways with my friend, said that we would meet now and then, but we can't stick together because we follow different paths,we said goodbye to each other on Manhattan and i went to Norfolk and joined up with my first patrol.

I hooked up with the defender patrol at Norfolk, they wren't veterans, they were cadets like me,but that didn't matter,we were going on some patrol from Norfolk to Manhattan without taking lanes, which seemed easy enough.

Oh my god,i didn't knew it was hard fighting criminals,we had two skirmishes near Fort Bush, both involved rogues, one of the defenders got damaged, but he repaired and we moved on,we stumbled into a firefight when we were up against 8 rogues! Luckily, there were 3 LPI ships in the area and they lend us a hand,it would be all grim if it wren't for the LPI.

So we landed on Manhattan for refueling, and launched again, this time we engaged with outcasts near Norfolk, when the patrol was near to a end,the fight was long, but wasn't tough.but it is enough for a little brag. We landed on Missouri and we got 5000 credit bonus, which was awesome,i used them in the cost of repairs and buying myself some glasses, and some brandy in the bar, which was good.

It's been five days since my last entry,I've been busy at the most, and it's been two hours since i got my promotion to officer,I've been busy in patrols in the last five days,i didn't die,but our patrol got shifted to another location,so it's new route was from West Point to Detroit,to battle the outcasts, all was good, until my ship suffered a fatal blow, which blew off it's engines and set the ship on fire,i could only fly at 25 km,and it took me 5 hours to get back to west point, where my ship finally broke down,it was rendered unusable,so i got a brand new executioner, fair enough.

I had also escorted <TXT MISSING> once,we separated once more at Kepler system, which was a lovely reunion,so now i have decided to put in logs once in a week, which i think is enough.

So another week, another interesting thing to tell,on the first day,it was just a normal patrol, with small groups of criminals wanting a fight, the second day,we found a smuggler carrying Artifacts to Manhattan,we stopped it,fined it,made him drop the Artifacts.

On the third day we encountered increased pirate activity,on the fourth day,we were send on a first official strike mission,it involved destroying a rogue installation in the detroit debris field,it was a joint mission with another group of Havoc Mk II bombers,we encountered heavy resistance on our way there, but we managed to hold them off.

When we got close,we were greeted by a dozen rogues waiting for us,it was much of like a peek-a-boo by a shark before it devours it's victim, and the way the rogues were looking,it became very much the same.

We engaged,we fought, god, those rogues were tough,we had to call in reinforcements,we lost two executioners and one bomber, and the situation was very much looking like the end of us,but 5 guardians came and saved our lives, they sure were a veteran squad.

It's been a while since my last log...as everything has went to hell. Soon after the rogues were destroyed, two of our pilots were killed...the one piloting the cupholder got hospitalized.

The rest of our wing were temporarily stationed aboard The Endurance. A Overlord-Class dreadnought. We had nothing to do, we were supposed to protect the place but...there were no intruders, spies, rogue lieutenants to catch, so it got boring...really boring.

However, on one day, a spy had gotten on board the dreadnought. He shot one of my wingman...this fueled my anger as I chased him corridor to corridor. I decided to cut him off and took a shortcut.

The shortcut brought me directly above him, I jumped on him from the ventilation duct as he ran across. I landed a punch to his face and knocked him out.

As soon as I did that, I heard a explosion, something went off in the reactor room. Another explosion followed the first one, literally throwing me off feet. The dreadnought had started to tilt, the tilting made me slide all the way to the other end.

The spy followed suit, as the dreadnought completely tiled vertically, me and the spy flew across, into the next corridor. the dreadnought started to tilt into it's original position, making me land face first onto the ground, the spy landed next to me.

I took out my gun, and did a headshot on the spy at a point blank range. I stood up, and did a sprint towards the reactor room.

I ran room to room, corridor to corridor, saw other people running around me, as I entered the reactor room...it was destroyed. As soon as I saw the burning cell and the now-half-black core, another explosion happened, it was the engines.

The explosion injured me, the engines were really as close to the reactor as someone would be close to someone while hugging him/her. It threw me out of the room, I landed on my neck, I slowly got up, there was a excruciating pain in my leg which hindered my movement, but I decided to limp to safety anyway.

I limped a long way before arriving at the pod rooms, they were literally on fire. The fire had spread from the engine to about half of the dreadnought, I ignored others bumping into me as I limped across. I had gotten really close to an empty pod, before I could limp into the pod, an explosion was sounded and a large, bulky object hit me on the head, throwing me into the pod.

I started to black out as the pod doors closed...I got out of there, the pod shot out before it could catch fire. The last thing I remember seeing would be the black void of space around me, as everything went black.

I remained in an Hospital on West Point for the rest of the month...figuring out how I survived that incident. The Endurance did survive, but it's now parked on Norfolk, getting repaired and made even better.

I am out of the hospital by now, but who knows what is going to happen next...we'll see.

It's been ten days since my last log, not much is happening really...our wing was reinstated with new pilots and many of the secondary fleet's patrols were extended to Libertonian transports going into Bretonia.

Liberty is getting into political tensions with Rheinland, and a new star system called Orkney had been found by the IMG. Kusari is also getting into trouble with Bretonia, there have been several skirmishes between the Bretonia Armed Forces and the Kusari Naval Forces. The Tau systems are disputed due to this.

We usually escort tankers and Advanced Trains going into Leeds transporting boron and other materials. The good thing is, some of the captains pay us some hard cash for escorting them.

I had once escorted a tanker for two trips back and forth, he paid me 2 million credits! It was one of the best days of my life, I heavily modified my ship now with the cash, and brought a house on Manhattan.

It's been a month and I've had no contact with just.a.person, my old friend's camera, I was hoping to get a patrol around the Kusarian border so I can find him. I was also planning on retiring and getting a transport and going into trading...but I am not sure, we'll see about that soon enough.
October 25th, 817 A.S

Again...again a while since my last entry, too much happened between them.

One, I had a near-death scenario as I was escaping the atmosphere of Manhattan, I had landed there to meet up with some officers for new assignments. As I was escaping the atmosphere, my ship lost control and stalled. I don't know why but it seemed more slower and clumsy than usual.

I apparently didn't achieve the escape velocity and stalled my craft. It suddenly tilted down vertically and went down really fast.

I couldn't think of anything else but to get the plane back under control, I wouldn't land in the mountains, it was where our outpost was located. And I knew that any moment, I will run into some high mountain hiding beneath the clouds and die. I could not see a thing, it was completely overcast.

I kept pulling back the stick really hard, and my craft titled a little bit horizontally, but that barely helped as I almost hit the apparent tip of a mountain. It gave me a near-heart attack so I 'threw' the stick away, tilted it back to it's vertical position.

I jumped forward and caught hold of the stick and pulled back with all my force, the aircraft had got some speed and could be flyable again, the craft completely tilted horizontally and I had a sigh of relief.

However, I ran into a mountain, I swayed to the right, and I heard a loud thud and crunching sound. I looked to the right, and saw I didn't had a starboard wing.

Then my plane completely lost control as it swayed towards the ground, I gave up and ejected. The plane crashed into some valley and I decided to glide towards the outpost, which was 2 kilometers away.

I couldn't glide that far and landed on some short hill, surrounding me were a few mountains, and I could already see the outpost in the distance.

I ran to the outpost, and into the office, slammed the desk in front of the Lieutenant and told him what happened with my ship. He decided to do a full-out check on the ship.

That was all it happened, they are still performing their simulations to check what caused the problem.

Number two, I had escorted some frigate into Rheinland then into Kusari, we had one stop at New Berlin then the other at New Tokyo, it was apparently a diplomatic mission and the frigate carried politicians and VIP's...it was a Liberty Navy Frigate.

After the escort mission ended, I was supposed to fly back to Colorado and reunite with my wing, but I stumbled upon someone...it was Just.a.Person.

We met each other in the Shikoku system, and had a little chat, then we flew to Kansas, that's where bad things started to happen.

We were ambushed by Xenos, I asked my wing to come over for assistance, and decided to engage them on my own. Some navy patrol of two ships also came in to assist me. But I failed something...

After we had taken down the four Xenos, Just.a.Person's transport got badly damaged, so we decided to escort him to Ames to get repairs. When we took the lane, another ambush happened, 8 Xenos!

I could not believe it, they were everywhere, they took down one of the fighter then they took down the other one, the navy patrol which assisted us was destroyed. We already took down four of them, but a executioner and a camera against 4 Griffins is suicide.

I told them to bring it on and engaged them, after I took down one of them, three of them switched targets and attacked Just.a.Person, they ripped apart his hull as he tried to eject, the camera exploded. I lost signals with him and I just wished he was alive and well.

My wing finally arrived, and we took on the remaining Xenos, killing them all. However...Just.a.Person was destroyed, my old friend got badly injured and was hospitalized, but he died after a few days, the doctors couldn't do much.

I sat in my house in sorrow, thinking about life and what else have I remaining to do before my turn comes. I have just lost my friend and my best friend, and this would be just the beginning, I would see what is going to happen.

There is a possibility Liberty may go into war with Rheinland, then my mortality rate gets higher...
