|| Kyoto Base, Chugoku System
[Image: 08r4qKf.jpg]
| Class: Bushido
| Gravity: Partial
| Amenities: Yes
| Population: 20 000 (capacity)
  • Kyoto Base was founded during a long carving process that started in 321 A.S, and completed to be fully operational in 340 A.S. Since its founding days, Kyoto was the heart of the Blood Dragons' plight, and their home away from home, remaining as such to the present day. Over time, with the influx of new recruits and resources, the Kyoto planetoid was carved into a fully operational starbase with the ability to house massive populations, and fortifications that would deter even the most persistent invaders.

    The interior of the starbase took the form of a small multi-leveled city, with shogunate era architecture being the prominent building style. Tall and skinny buildings dot the complex, with brown, yellow and red being the decorative colors of choice. The centerpiece of the entire complex is the Imperial Palace, built in the honor of the deceased Hideyoshi line and serving as the assembly of the Shogunate and its officials.

    The Kazoku maintains its largest presence here, with its headquarters and facilities located on the upper levels.

|| Mito Shipyards, Chugoku System
[Image: JYDkVVX.jpg]
| Class: Meiyo
| Gravity: Partial
| Amenities: Limited
| Population: 10 000 (capacity)
  • Mito Shipyards is a secret complex built away from prying eyes deep inside Chugoku's Okamura Nebula. The shipyard's habitat was also carved into a planetoid similar to Kyoto, and the interior took a similar form with some variation in technical elements, focusing more on production and storage than living space. Nevertheless, the Shipyards also boast a significant dragon population.

    The shipyard is used to produce and house the Blood Dragon capital fleet, most notably maintaining and safeguarding the venerable Togo line. The nature of Blood Dragon operations demands heavy usage of fighter craft, while the limited capital fleet rarely sees use outside of immediate controlled space, most ships never leaving Mito dock. However, the ships are constantly maintained, so when the call for battle is heard, they can be dispatched swiftly and without delay.

|| Ryuku Base, Tohoku System
[Image: mKusGMR.jpg]
| Class: Yosai
| Gravity: Partial
| Amenities: Limited
| Population: 1000 (capacity)
  • Ryuku Base was established in 798, with the sole purpose of monitoring the construction of Heaven's Gate and acting as a forward outpost for operations against the same.

    During the course of the next few years, Ryuku proved to be an invaluable asset and finally the location from where the Order and the Blood Dragons launched their joint strike against the Gate was launched. With the conclusion of the Nomad War, Ryuku became a fairly quiet place, serving as a resting point for convoys and patrols going from and to Okinawa.

    However, with the sudden resurgence of Wild activity from the Heaven's Gate and the arrival of Battleship Sado to the system, Ryuku is bound to become a hotspot of Dragon and Order activity once again.

|| Sendai Research Complex, Okinawa System
[Image: 0CKycYx.jpg]
| Class: Hideyoshi
| Gravity: Complete
| Amenities: Yes
| Population: 720
  • Sendai Research Complex was originally built to house weapon and ship research and developement, in a far away and uncharted system circa 692 A.S, in an attempt to maintain secrecy and security. Many technologies that the Blood Dragons use today, were researched and developed onboard this very complex. A home to many scientists, primarily of Blood Dragon, but also of Order and Chrysanthemum affiliation.

    The Complex played a vital role before the beginning of the Nomad War, when some artifacts uncovered in Tohoku were introduced to the scientists onboard, leading to the interest of the Order and the subsequent alliance.

    Today, the complex remains a well hidden research hub, with divisions in, but not limited to Exobiology, Xenoarcheology and Astrosociobiology. The scientists regularly visit the two planets, Niiza and Miura, in order to study the local lifeforms and share possibly important discoveries with their peers.

_ _ _ _ _ _

|| Hikone Base, Honshu System
[Image: V45Na3N.jpg]
| Class: Umaya
| Gravity: Partial
| Amenities: Yes
| Population: 200
  • Hikone is the latest addition to our base assets, established recently in the depths of Hiryo Nebula. This small depot was very important for asserting our dominance within the sector and the Sigma Cluster, a step towards eliminating the Corsair advance.

    Hikone sees much traffic going from and to the Sigma Cluster, including but not limited to Bundschuh convoys and ocassional Freelancers. The Golden Chrysanthemums also stop here briefly while importing Cardamine, something we allow purely out of respect, and on the condition that no Cardamine is left behind on the station or otherwise traded to visitors.

_ _ _ _ _ _

|| Kawaguchi Complex, Planet Niiza, Okinawa System
[Image: 8YRSl6Y.jpg]
| Class: Yomi
| Gravity: Complete
| Amenities: CLASSIFIED
| Population: CLASSIFIED
  • A project of the Watanabe Kazoku, built deep inside Planet Niiza's cavernous deeps in 730 A.S, nearly four decades after Sendai was established. The complex started out as the Kazoku's attempt to independently practice unrestricted research, and some valuable discoveries, like the Seeker Drones, were made in the complex.

    Operated by a semi-autonomous artificial intelligence dubbed "Hiderigami", the complex had a population of around 50 people at its peak, consisting mainly of Kazoku scientists and their families.

    The complex was shut down in 800 A.S, after the brief visit of the now late Masahiro's child, Hirotada, due to pest control issues and lack of funding. Data about the nature of research conducted and current status remains classified.

|| B50P "Katana"
[Image: 220px-Ku_dragon.png]
| Class: Very Heavy Fighter
| Role: Primary Strike Craft
| Available at: Kyoto Base
  • Bearing only a vague resemblance to the original craft that grandfathered itself, each Katana is the product of years of research and engineering secrets put in practice. While the current model favors maneuverability and deftness of control over sluggish fortitude, the B50P has been refined and refitted time and again to meet the styles, thoughts and will of its pilot so this craft provides a stunning and unearthly show of martial prowess upon the battlefield.

    The blueprints of this craft have been kept in great secrecy by the various generations of Blood Dragon engineers in the past 500 years, giving every warrior the chance to counter the current Naval Forces war machine. Only the most trusted people who weren't directly related to the Blood Dragons have been gifted with such vessels.

|| B69-R "Nodachi"
[Image: 254px-Redcatamaran.png]
| Class: Bomber
| Role: Primary Anti-Capital Strike Craft
| Available at: Kyoto Base
  • Bearing only a vague resemblance to the original craft that grandfathered itself and its counterpart, the Umibozu, each Nodachi is the product of years of research and engineering secrets put in practice. While the current model favors maneuverability and deftness of control over sluggish fortitude, the B69-R has been refined and refitted time and again to meet the styles, thoughts and will of its pilot so this craft provides a stunning and unearthly show of martial prowess upon the battlefield.

    The blueprints of this craft have been kept in great secrecy by the various generations of Blood Dragon engineers in the past 500 years, giving every warrior the chance to counter the current Naval Forces war machine. Only the most trusted people who weren’t directly related to the Blood Dragons have been gifted with such vessels.

|| J90 "Tanto"
[Image: 254px-Ku_fighter.png]
| Class: Light Fighter
| Role: Primary Scout/Interceptor
| Available at: Kyoto Base
  • Forgoing virtually all defense save the wit and skill of her pilot, the Tanto pushes not just the limits of modern spacecraft design to the limits of durability, but those of their pilots as well. Specially conditioned to endure the intense forces generated by the wild maneuvers this craft is capable of, Tanto pilots represent a rare breed of warrior, capable of outclassing any and all fighters on the field of battle.

||"Hachiman"
[Image: 254px-Asashio.png]
| Class: Gunboat
| Role: Anti-Snub Platform/Heavy Support, Mobile Command Post/Comms Platform
| Available at: Mito Shipyards
  • Based upon the escort craft designed to ensure the safe passage of the Shogun of old, the Hachiman retains little performance to suggest itself as a dated craft. Bearing state of the art communication equipment to dictate the flow and ebb of battle, these front line command posts command battlefield situations as readily with the command of flurries of fighter vessels as they do with the gun.

    The sanctified nature of these craft dictate that they pass from father to son, from family to family. Each ship is a treasured tribute to battles fought and lives lost. To find one outside Blood Dragon hands is unthinkable and the deaths of those whom try is undeniable.

_ _ _ _ _ _

||"Kagutsuchi"
[Image: 254px-Kagutsuchi.png]
| Class: Cruiser
| Role: Long Range Bombardment, Secondary Flagship/Command Vessel
| Available at: Mito Shipyards
  • This fearsome cruiser is noted for its enormous forward firing cannon. Crafted from technologies provided by the Order during their tenure of cooperation, the Kagutsuchi was crafted to provide the raw stopping power needed to combat the feared tides of Wild infested Kusarian fleets. Built upon the designs of an ancient naval cruiser, the vessel contains the graceful lines and imposing agility that defined the fleets of the age.
_ _ _ _ _ _

||"Togo"
[Image: 254px-Togo.png]
| Class: Battleship
| Role: Flagship
| Available at: Mito Shipyards
  • With the divide within Kusari many craft of the line were usurped by crews loyal to the true Shogun. When the call to battle was sounded many of the first battles were waged within the halls of these mammoth vessels. Those that were secured were sequestered away amongst the clouds of the Crow Nebula until a time would come that they could be restored to their former glory to restore the old order.

    Possessing only a small handful of these aged craft, of fewer still can be put to active service, the venerable Togo line now serves as a last defense line for Blood Dragon interests, until such a time comes that the full power of the Blood Dragon movement is to be unleashed upon the descendants of the traitors who dishonor Kusari.

::: Name: 3B-91 "Seeker Drone"
::: Tier: Confidential
::: Status: Ongoing

  • During deep space recon inside the Okamura Nebula, a Kazoku patrol encountered a crippled but mostly preserved husk of unknown origins. They assumed it was an unmanned recon drone, possibly sent by their enemies, but attempts to destroy it showed that it was extremely resistant to conventional laser fire.

    The husk was hauled to Okinawa, and stored inside the secret Kawaguchi Complex. Further inspection only confirmed the initial suspicions, and the husk was classified as "a technological oddity of non-human origins". The study of the husk revealed what seemed to be blueprints and data drives with a substantial ammount of data, all in an unknown and complicated computer language with several variations in coding.

    Over the course of the next 20 years, the scientists managed to decipher only a small fraction of the code, however this bit of information led to the development of the Artificial Intelligence Brain "Hiderigami", a benign sentient entity which was installed to Kawaguchi's mainframe, and used to control most of the complex' functions.

    After the initial shutdown of the Complex, the Husk and its secrets were stored away on Kyoto and disregarded for a time, until the reign of the new head of house, Toshiro, who ordered the restart of the process. This lead to the creation of several more Artificial Intelligence "Brains", ranging from sentient to sapient, which were then interfaced with unmanned vessels, mainly freighters and transports and then used for long range exploration and transportation of goods over lenghty and dangerous routes.

    The primary purpose of the small, yet highly mobile fleet of drones is to explore Tohoku, Chugoku, Okinawa and the surrounding space in an attempt to find undiscovered jump holes and chart the surrounding star systems in hopes of finding a life-supporting planet, that the Dragons could potentially settle and exploit, leading to a reinforced position and ease of access to resources, making their goal many times easier.

::: Name: Ka-Ak-1 "Sewage Horde"
::: Tier: Classified
::: Status: Discontinued

  • Within the initial settlement period of the Kawaguchi Complex, the first builders encountered a persisting problem, in the form of the native predatory species dubbed "Kawa-Akago". Due their outright aggression and general pest-like behavior, the builders had to be under constant guard during construction time.

    Even after completion, they found the Kawa-Akago to be extremely intrusive and crafty, often burrowing into the complex through weak spots and wreaking havoc on several ocassions. The intrusions only stopped when a modified form of pest repellent was installed within the complex, set to a certain wavelength that the creatures could not tolerate.

    Well deserved of their name, the Kawa-Akago were able to project and mimic a wide variety of sounds through their highly evolved vocal cords, an evolutionary trait which they used to lure prey closer to them, sending many scientists into their demise, looking for phantom whispers and cries of lost children.

    Over time, the isolated scientific population of Kawaguchi started to conduct experiments on the creatures, taking note of the Kawa-Akago's special gene that made the species extremely responsive to genetic manipulations of all forms. Under their own initiative, a small group of scientists started genetic alteration projects on the creatures, hoping to craft an obedient and intelligent infiltration horde from the modified creatures that the scientists in their madness considered suitable to unleash to the sewage systems of the Kusari Planets.

    Under the veil of secrecy, they continued to do so for a decade, leading to some breakthroughs, such as enhanced intelligence and enhanced strength and reflexes, however no progress was made on obedience and eventually the lab projects escaped from the complex. After several accidents and disappearings, the head of the house, Masahiro Watanabe, was informed by his son Hirotada of the developments within the confines of Kawaguchi.

    The response was swift, the project shut down, and the lead scientist compelled to commit ritual suicide for high treason and conspiring heavy crimes against humanity. The rest of the team was exiled from the Kazoku in crippled and unnarmed ships and left adrift in Hokkaido, and the Complex promptly shut down due to infestation.

::: Name: "Izanagi No Okami - Experimental Togo"
::: Tier: Confidential
::: Status: Ongoing

  • When the Blood Dragons made their exodus to Chugoku, many travelled on a usurped fleet of Togo-class battleships, a symbol of the old Shogunate's power. One such battleship was the "Izanagi", which carried the progenitor of the Watanabe bloodline, Watanabe Katashi, among others that made the journey with him.

    Approximately several klicks before the exodus reached Chugoku, a malfunction occured in the battleship's scanners, and the crew was unable to see or evade a gigantic asteroid which was coming straight towards them. The battleship's starboard side hit the asteroid with such force, that the hull was breached on several different spots, leaving several decks open to vacuum and those within - dead.

    Katashi however survived with a number of others in the sealed off shuttle bay, and left it in smaller craft which then followed the main fleet, leaving the battleship adrift in space.

    Over time, all details of its location were lost in freak accidents, and the search was eventually called off by all except the Watanabe Kazoku, whose members considered it to be a part of their legacy. The search was long and fruitless for a time, but with the full blown usage of "Seeker Drones", the mammoth vessel was found adrift near the edges of the vast Okamura nebula.

    The Izanagi was then towed back to Mito Shipyards, where its undergoing retrofitting with experimental technologies and being restored to serve as the flagship of the Watanabe Kazoku.

::: Name: A-35 "Hatamoto" Powered Combat Armor
::: Tier: WK Public, Requisitionable by Allies
::: Status: Complete, Upgrades Pending

  • The Blood Dragon space arsenal boasts an impressive and technologically advanced fighter corps used to dominate their surroundings and strike at their targets quickly and effectively. But when the time comes for Station-bound or Planetside missions, that's when the loyal warriors of the True Kusari don the Hatamoto powered armor.

    Inspired by the Bushi warriors of ancient Japan, the recently developed armor became both a symbol of might and a weapon of destruction. Each piece of armor is a deadly work of art, handmade by dilligent engineers on Kyoto from specially made alloys and components, all coming together to take form of a powered armor that provides a fitting balance between weight, power and protection.

    The armor's internal systems come with sensitive instruments that monitor the user's vital signs, which can be easily read on the visual display located on the mask. If the vital signs start showing signs of injury, the inbuilt computer triggers internal injection systems, which can deliver a suitable coctail of chemicals directly to the bloodstream, maximizing performance and survivability.

    The visor comes with a transparent interface which the user can manually operate, with functions such as but not limited to temperature control, injection control and heat/night vision. Beside support and protection, the left arm palm area contains an inbuilt blaster system, used to deliver deadly shots at unsuspecting victims, and coupled with a close-quarters Katana blade, the armor turns anyone trained to use it into a potent killing machine.

\\Clearance Codes Accepted, Opening File: Tier One Relations: Alliance//

| | The Golden Chrysanthemums
[Image: 264px-ChrysanthemumLogo.png]
| Relations Code: Emerald
| Shogun's Notes:
  • "An idealistic group of young Kusari women opposed to the unjust opression and exploatation of women throughout Kusari."

    "In the hostile environment of Kusari space, one needs allies if he plans to survive. The chrysanthemums happen to be the only allies the Dragons have in Kusari, and the same goes for them. The relationship between our groups was well nurtured from the very start, and we have come to depend on one another for survival."

    "However, myself and many others have some concerns about their ideology and affairs. Make no mistake, my loyalty to the sisterhood is without doubt complete, their spirit is strong and their devotion admirable, yet they still have some flaws."

    "The simple idea that the gender of any ruler has anything to do with his ability to govern a state efficiently is poorly thought through, and their misguided devotion towards that particular goal leaves them unaware of alternate possibilities."

    "There is also the issue of their Cardamine use. It was their conscious choice, and I find myself tolerant, but I cannot foresee anything good coming from it. They claim it is a pathway to emotional and mental liberation, a symbol of freedom. But I ask, how is something that makes you dependant, both on it and on those who sell it to you, a symbol of freedom? It is a difficult and sensitive matter to ponder, but it is how it is."

    "In conclusion, all members of the Sisterhood are to be respected and assisted in any way possible. We may have ideological disagreements, but the enemy we fight is common, and the core of the problem we seek to remove remains the same"

| | The Order
[Image: KAQ2z4i.png?1]
| Relations Code: Emerald
| Shogun's Notes:
  • "A well trained paramilitary force, utilizing advanced technology to eliminate and contain alien threats, primarily the Slomon K'hara, aka the Nomads."

    "The friendship with the Order has been an intriguing and interesting experience from its very start until now. I am quite certain that every Blood Dragon man, woman and child know the heroic tale of the Nomad War, and our role in it. They also know that all of that wouldn't have been possible without the Order. And I dare say, without their aid throughout the years, the Dragons wouldn't be what they are today."

    "During my service in Order, I had a chance to observe the lives and the purpose of these people firsthand, and to withness the magnitude of their sacrifice with my own five senses. To sacrifice one's life for an honorable cause is noble, but to sacrifice one's life for the survival of mankind as a whole is something else indeed. This is the Order's burden, a truly admirable cause"

    "Even though we had our differences during a short period of time, we are now again reconciled with these vigilant protectors of man, and we should be compelled to assist them in every way possible and be certain that they will respond in kind."

| | Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee (Bundschuh)
[Image: 264px-BundschuhLogo.png]
| Relations Code: Green
| Shogun's Notes:
  • "A populist political group that has been declared to be an enemy of the state by Rheinland authorities."

    "I remember these people from their involvement with the Order, both during the Nomad War, and afterwards. They always seemed like the idealistic kind, not on the other side of the law for profit, but rather fighting to turn their homeland into a place worth living in."

    "With their apparent hate of the Corsairs and their zone of operation that touches our own, they may prove to be valuable partners in the years to come. Their political views are not the same as ours, but they are not completely incompatible. We will attempt to suggest our views to them during our encounters as a form of honest courtesy, but I doubt they will change their minds. I know I wouldn't."

    "All things considered, our treaty with the Armee stands, we are to protect and support each other in the Sigma-13 system, and promote healthy trade between our bases, Hikone in Honshu, and Bruchsal in Frankfurt."

| | Gas Miners Guild
[Image: 264px-GmgLogo.png]
| Relations Code: Green
| Shogun's Notes:
  • "Founded by former fishermen of Honshu, more than 5 centuries ago, the Gas Miners Guild is the primary supplier of H-Fuel to all houses of Sirius."

    "The Guild, where to even begin. Despite being a corporation, their structure and spirit is more akin to a family than anything else. They hold their gas mining empire on the fringes of settled space, working hard to combat many threats in order to preserve what they have built."

    "My words may come as pure admiration, but such admiration is well earned. The guild secretly supported the Dragon cause when no one else would. They trained our pilots in the art of nebula warfare and guerilla tactics, skills that we in time mastered and perhaps even surpassed from necessity. They provided financial aid for our operations against the wretched Samura and their lackies, an aid that was paramount to our continued survival. Without them, we wouldn't have survived for so long without abandoning our dignity and turning to all out piracy."

    "Keep in mind, much is owed to the Guild, and thus, every Dragon should do his best to support them whenever it is needed, but also stay out of their affairs, and do not break the secrecy of our agreement."

| | The Vagrant Raiders
[Image: 264px-Vagrant_Raiders.png]
| Relations Code: Light Green
| Shogun's Notes:
  • "A paramilitary force of their sovereign nation, formerly known as relentless pirates and cardamine smugglers. Interesting."

    "I would be lying if I said that it's something I've heard of before. A greedy pirate band changes its purpose completely and acts as a catalyst in the formation of a sovereign state. Do such changes truly happen, or do they have a higher agenda?"

    "Nevertheless, their support against the approaching warmachine that is Gallia is welcome, they seem to be honest in that respect at least."

    "Their "Merak" squadron is allowed to rest on Kyoto for indefinite ammounts of time, and suitable quarters have been made available for their usage. Do not interfere with their operations more than its necessary, but keep an eye on them from distance. They were given rare trust, more than I would usually give to pirates, former or current, mistakes cannot be tolerated. Time will tell if I was right."

| | The Outcasts, Maltese Commonwealth
[Image: 220px-Flag-outcasts.png]
| Relations Code: Yellow
| Shogun's Notes:
  • "The so called "Nation" of Malta."

    "One of the most powerful sirius factions, located on the other side of mainstream law. Once allies out of necessity, now not much more than obstacles we are forced to tolerate. The Golden Chrysanthemums are allied with them, and thus, Outcasts are frequently seen near or on their bases."

    "The Outcasts supply the GC with Cardamine, making them ignorant to their manipulations and wrong-doings. If I could put a stop to this by any means, I would not hesitate for one moment."

    "Under the influence of Cardamine, the genetic code of the Outcasts has been altered to such a level, that they cannot be even considered human anymore. Yet, instead of being ashamed, in their arrogance, they consider themselves to be higher than humans. Their outright hatred of the human race is such, that they seek to sell their addiciting drug to all and that they ally themselves with humanity's greatest enemy - The Nomads"

    "Their nature could have been remedied to an extent, if not for that last point. The Nomads. To make such alliances and sell your soul to the fiends that are Slomon K'hara is without cause and unforgivable. When judgement comes, it will be their own doing."

    "But, all in all, you are to tolerate the Outcasts if they are in Kusari to conduct business with the chrysanthemums. However, If some transports disappear away from prying eyes and ears, I would be sad, but I believe I would cheer up quickly.

    If these abominations of nature disrespect or insult you in any way at all, you have my full permission to turn their ships into space debris. If they are caught partaking in our rightful taxation of the Shogunate unlawfully, or attacking any of our allies in our zone of operations, you don't need my permission to turn them into space debris."

| Shogun's Notes:
  • "Samura."

    "A name that doesn't deserve much explanation or description, but also a name without which this database could not be complete."

    "How do I even begin to describe the hatred that is only reserved for this particular lair of evil and corruption? I cannot, nor do I wish to."

    "Our sole purpose, from the beginning of our fight, five centuries ago was to exact revenge on those who stole the Shogunate from the people of Kusari, to slay the beast that tainted our original purpose, dishonored our master and us. They robbed the True Kusari of Meiyo, our honor. It is only fitting that we take their lives in return."

    "It is every Blood Dragon's duty to mercilessly hunt down every one who bears the Samura name with pride, to burn their every holding, to destroy everything they had ever built, until they are nothing but an insignificant footnote in the history of our troubled nation."

    "Their powerbase has dropped, they are no longer in control of everything, and thus, now is the time to strike harder than ever. For Hideyoshi's memory, and a better Kusari."

[Image: 264px-HogoshaLogo.png]
| Relations Code: Blood Red
| Shogun's Notes:
  • "Kusari's largest crime syndicate, the faithful lackies of Samura and allies of the Corsairs."

    "The Hogosha are the single most influential faction in Kusari, having their fingers in every credit vault throughout our nation. They masquerade as "the protectors of kusari and its people", while in truth, they are among the many who are bleeding it dry. They brought in the plague of Corsairs to Kusari in order to feed their greed, and for that and many other things, they cannot be forgiven"

    "They rely on their carefully weaved lies and personal relations with high ranking officials to retain their power, and so, we must destroy their public image as much as we destroy the lives of their men."

  • "The Alliance is a small "terrorist" organization that opposes Synth Foods influence, and foreign influence in general. If only it was that simple."

    "The Farmers Alliance was one of the many to be seduced by the lies of Samura, promised their farmland and traditional life back, in exchange for support. As naive as they may sound, I cannot help but to pity them to an extent."

    "They settled a system near our controled space under the protection of their masters, seeking a safe haven on the edges of Kusari space."

    "They will find no such thing, we will make sure of that."

    "They are brainwashed to such an extent, that everything Samura says to them is considered pure truth, and as such, they will engage us in combat whenever possible. Make sure you shoot first, my brothers."

| Shogun's Notes:
  • "The military of the false Kusari government."

    |Republic Aligned:

    "The Naval Forces are a military force that protects those we wish to overthrow. Even though their intentions are noble, and they often lead a traditional warrior life, we find ourselves at opposite ends of the battlefield nearly always."

    "After Gallia's introduction to the scene of Sirius, the KNF was sundered and divided to those still loyal to the Kogen bloodline, and those who would support the so-called "Republic of Kusari". While most of the Imperial forces remained with the Exile fleet when they were stranded in Bretonia, there are still some who are secretly on the side of the empire. We wold do well to use this division in the hearts of their men to gain the upper hand."

    "These men and women are well equipped and well trained, and while they are a bit unmotivated as of late, their pilots can still match our own. Excercise caution when dealing with them."

    |Empire Aligned:

    "The Naval Forces offshot, separated from Kusari after the outbreak of the war with Gallia."

    "As mentioned above, these men and women stayed behind to fight the Gallic advance after the illegal Republic of Kusari was established, refusing to recognize the peace and the new administration"

    "They recently broke through the blockades, under the leadership of the new "Emperor", and are seeking to return to Kusari. These new developments will most likely cause chaos and unrest, and we should do our best to exploit it in order to further our own goals."

| Relations Code: Blood Red
| Shogun's Notes:
  • "The unnecesary "police force" of the false Kusari government."

    "The police is in charge of patrolling Kusari and dealing with petty criminals and smugglers. As offensive as it may sound, they also consider us to be one of those."

    "They are seldom as agressive and straightforward as the Naval Forces, and may look for alternative solutions other than combat. Use that to your advantage."

    "While the mainstream force of the 'KSP', is not a direct threat on its own, the secret police division "Kempeitai" are not to be taken lightly. They are deceptive, stealthy and generally well trained and equipped."

| Relations Code: Blood Red
| Shogun's Notes:
  • "The Nomad-Infested forces of Kusari, based out of the Arch."

    "The Iseijin were founded by the remnants of the infested guards of governor Tekagi, known for their involvement in the Nomad War. We had thought to have destroyed the fiends many times over, but they always found a way to recuperate."

    "Even now, they hold the Arch and defy all attempts of their destruction. Their exact numbers and level of strenght are unknown, but they always keep rising."

    "They use their bestial cunning and deceptive nature to decieve, outmanuver and strike when least expected. Extreme caution is recommended when dealing with them. Never give them ground or courtesy, and if you happen to recognize the face of an acquaintance, friend or brother, do not relent, for the beast has long since claimed them. Do not show mercy, and expect none in return."

| | Corsair Empire
[Image: 220px-Flag-corsairs.png]
| Relations Code: Blood Red
| Shogun's Notes:
  • "The largest and most organized pirate force in Sirius, originating from Planet Crete, in the edge worlds."

    "The Corsairs are a part of a large scale problem, with no apparent solution in sight. Having allied themselves with the Samura and their sphere of lackies, Hogosha and Farmers Alliance, we had no apparent choice but to wage war against them as well."

    "They seek to expand their influence throughout Kusari space, and they have amassed allies and connections to further this goal. We must not let this happen."

    "If the Hogosha are to fall, we must disrupt their primary source of income. The artifact trade, which is naturally provided by the Corsairs."

    "They originated from a harsh and unforgiving planet, comparable to the western concepts of hell. And from this hell they spread onwards, throughout Sirius, relentless and unforgiving. Their warlike nature and lack of proper civilization makes them a threat, a threat that must be extinquished before it consumes Kusari."
