Field Marshal Joseph Garcia's mind was still racing with possibilities since Pope Brettonias of the TAZ had been escorted to Mykolaiv Research Station in a rare mobilization of SCRA Capital Assets. The Pope had contacted the SCRA and while the Pope had not immediately disclosed what exactly he was carrying, Garcia felt he owed it to the long-standing friendship between the SCRA and TAZ to indulge the Pope and grant his request of heavy escort.
Needless to say, Garcia was not disappointed with the results of the escort. The Pope had somehow managed to obtain technical information on the Vagrant Raider flagship the Metropolis and in exchange, wanted to use the dry docks at Mykolaiv. According to the Pope, Mykolaiv was one of the only places that the TAZ could construct their warship in secrecy for if the Gallics or anyone else found out about it, there would certainly be consequences.
Now Garcia, alongside Commissar Tabakov were heading towards one of the many meeting rooms aboard Mykolaiv station in order to meet with the Pope and further discuss the important matters at hand. With Garcia and Tabakov came an entourage of scientists and engineers working on the Tempest project who would no doubt be interested in learning about the Popes project as well as how it may affect the Tempest.
Passing by a flurry of activity, Garcia remembered his recent encounter with Him. In an interesting move, He has promised Garcia his full support on the Tempest Project, as well as with whatever the TAZ plans. What that meant however, was unknown to him and he could only ponder until he reached his destination.
The Meeting Room was relatively bare, except for a large conference table in the middle and equipment that could be used to project and interact with information. As Field Marshal Garcia and the rest of those with him sat down, he could only wonder as to the details of the Popes plan.
For now, he simply had to wait for the Pope to arrive.
