Greetings Doctor:

It is with great sense of anticipation that I come to you.
Me , and my associate mr. Parker, together with some Congress members, have been involved in logistics operations in planet Leeds, supplying the resistance heroes with much needed ammunition and other goods.

We have been asked every time to evacuate casualties from the front. Injured people victim of gallic brutality. We have so far complied and relocated them to the Congress diplomatic vessel, the .:j:.Larklight, a bretonian liner that was suitably adapted to the transport of those victims.

However, good Doctor, there are too many of them, too many for us to take care properly and we are becoming overwhelmed . This is why I decided to contact you , Sir.

I beg you to allow the Larklight safe passage to planet Gran Canaria so that those injured heroes could recover in your capable hands.

We, of the Junkers Congress, aim only to help the distressed population of Leeds, me, as bretonian aim only to serve my Queen and Country in this hour of distress.

Could I steer the Larklight, once it reaches full capacity, for safe haven in Gran Canaria?

Would you talk care of my injured fellow countrymen ?

Kallisti, Mr. Ashford,

I have never turned away people in need of medical help and today won't be the day I start. [TAZ]Med.Force.One has been a light of hope and a great success serving not just those in need of medical treatment but also serving as a research platform but one thing it really isn't is a place of refuge at least, not on a large scale.
We ask that the worst off patients be taken there. The rest?

I also have Canaria Medical Center on the planet. It is conveniently located between Port Canaria and Port Jackson, the latter being a Bretonian Refugee colony that I provide medical service for. Being close to there own at Port Jackson, I think a bulk of those you bring will be better off at Canaria Medical.

I will be forwarding a copy of this to the center's administrator, Dr. Doreen Naggar. She is a former student of mind, a great friend and a fine doctor. She and her staff will be glad to assist.

Yours in Eris,
Dr. John Henry Holliday

She smiles into the camera, her long red hair over her shoulders in a blue tunic
Greetings, Mr. Ashford,

I understand you have some people in need of medical help. I have plenty of room for them here and plenty of staff. We've been in a slow period which is good for people in the medical profession so we welcome the patients. I only ask for an estimate on how many will come. It doesn't have to be exact.

And when you get here, be sure to take a break. I know it's a long trip from Leeds to here with all the Gallics, Mollies and other people flying around. Besides, Canaria is nice this time of year.

She smiles and gives a finger wave

Be safe!

A dark haired, sharp eyed man in his late thirties appears on screen.

Dr. Dorean:

May I be so daring as to state how pleasantly surprised I am ?

But to the point. I have three thousand four hundred and five injured bretonians on board of the Larklight. These Leeds heroes are in dire need of your help and care.

At the present we managed to achieve a stable condition for the most part of them, some, however, are in crytical condition, so urgency is require in applying what i fear is beyond our medical expertise.

I assume that I have your permission to start the journey to the lovely Gran Canaria planet as soon as I am able to arrange an escort in order to avoid some foul play from "our mutual friends".

I will be sure to contact you again, as soon as the Larklight is about to enter the Gran Canaria system in order to get your final clearance.

Thank you for your prompt response and availability.

Maybe I could interest you to be my honoured guest...lets say dinner on board? as a modest token of my apreciation?

Gallians might be quite unpleasant but their wines are without rival.

He smiles an bows his head while looking intentionaly at the camera...

Transmission ended.

Greets again, Mr. Ashford,

Three thousand four hundred and five? That's more than I thought but I think we can handle it here. The critically injured will be given priority. We will evaluate people as they come in to decide who goes where. I'll have a landing pad standing by for your ship in which I will be part of an onboard team to evaluate the casualties.

She smiles

Dinner sounds good. Once we get things settled, I'll accept your offer. I like the white wines of Gallia. I await your arrival.

Safe travels,
Doreen

Dr. Doreen:

The larklight will arrive at Gran Canaria tomorrow evening.

It was a long perilous journey, even if the distance is short, as we had to avoid gallic patrols and known paths to be sure of the safety of our passengers.

The Larklight has a small escort of some Congress vessels for safety reasons. I look forward to meet you and give you my personal thanks for your availability.

Until then.

Yours trully

Ortog

PS: I took the liverty of sending ahead of us the Savage Spur, a percheron class transport, full of pharmaceuticals. My associate Parker reported he landed safely but didn't managed to attach on his report the photographic evidence of the delivery. I trust him to have done so, therefore I ask you to acept my word that those supplies were indead delivered. I will ship another haul shortly with whatever you find necessary.

Yes, Mr. Ashford, your pharmaceuticals were indeed delivered and will be put to good use. Thank you for planning ahead on that.

She sighs I've heard about the Gallic patrols although I have not run into them myself so please, be safe. I want you here as an agent of hope, not a casualty.

smilesI look forward to your arrival and some dinner.

She gives a rolling finger wave and the signal cuts out

I would love to meet aboard the Faedark. The patients are mostly settled so I should be able to break away for a bit. I'll just need to get a sitter for my son.
Formal? Semi-formal? Do let me know so that I can dress appropriately.

Smiles!
